Nice place to stay
Our host, Adam, was wonderfully communicative and very helpful.The house is located in a safe gated neighborhood about a quarter mile from the ocean. The listing was fairly accurate, although I think you share the patio with the other people in the house. The second bed and desk are not actually in this listing, but perhaps a door unlocks to access them. You can park on the street. Hot water showers are dependent on whether the propane is full (Adam kindly filled it for us after my cold shower). Please note, the closest access to the ocean is not a “beach”. The ocean breaks against a wall, and above the wall is a street with about a dozen bars that offer food. Not really a great environment for single females or families. I think you can access a sandy beach a short drive away. The listing was clean and well equipped. Enjoy!

Adam is a very good host. He was always available to answer my questions. We enjoyed our stay until the last night when the water supply to his development stopped. This was something Adam had no control over it. We left as we planned on the next morning. Adam called to apologize for the inconvenience.

Beautiful hideaway
Pictures are great but the smells of all the plants, sounds of the frogs, the warmth of the sun as you lounge in the chairs make this place really special. We grabbed steak and grilled it, microwaved potatoes and had romantic little supper. Adam made sure we had everything we needed. The neighborhood is very quiet but there is a playground across the street. With two bedrooms a family could stay. We went to beach during the day and he had boogie board we could use too. Great stay and Adam is a real blessing!

It was all worth it. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the patio was gorgeous. Great get-away. The kitchen portion is a kitchennette ( coffee maker, small fridge, plate warmer) . We loved it

It’s simply awesome stay, we all loved it. You feel like you are staying next to the nature (you will hear birds chirping if you open the door) and we didn’t feel like leaving the stay.Adam is too good in communication and simply awesome guy. 5 star for him too :)

Great Place
This property was exactly what Inwas expecting. The listing was 100% on point. Getting into the gated community was super easy due to the host. Adam was great and very helpful!! The listing does say you must turn all fans and air off before leaving. Don't let this scare you off. As soon as you turn them on when you return the rooms cool right down. Great place to stay.

Beautiful, serene, and close to everything you need to experience in Puerto Rico.
We knew this was going to be a good stay based on the reviews and pictures but our actual expsrience surpassed our expectations. Adam is a one of a kind host. He was communicating with us the whole time from the time we landed at san juan till we arrived at his home. Yes it is at his home and at first we were a but unsure but the rented property is in the back with a private entrance and a beautoful patio complete eith outdpor kitchen, sunshade purgola, landscape lighting for night and a ton of cool wildlife that you nturally find all over the island. We used this as our homebase while in puerto rico and did differen things everyday all over the island. After our stay here we went to a vrbo in isla verde in the city andand missed adams property so much. Yoy will not be upset choosing this property and my wife and i will absolutely be back. Thank you adam and your wife!

We loved this for a short stay over. It is in a gated community that is quiet and close to El Yunque - go to Charco El Hippie waterfall while you are there! The food in the nearby town is amazing! the only thing to note is that there is one private bedroom. The other bed is in the living area. The bathroom is accessed through the living area. No problem for a couple nights for us. The beds were extremely comfortable.

This place is truly amazing. The attention to detail the host has is amazing. From the decor to the comfortable beds you get. I would recommend anyone to stay at this location. It is truly worth the amount of money you pay to stay at a place that is clean, comfortable, spacious, and safe. By far one of the best rentals I have ever experienced. Awesome Experience
This place is away from the hustle and bustle of San Juan but it's such a nice place tucked in a hill in a gated community. It's so close to beach and surrounded by the rain forest. When we go swimming, we were swimming with the locals and not tourists. At night, we can hear the coqui singing from the backyard and when it rained, I thought I was sleeping in the middle of a rain forest. It was an awesome experience for my entire family. I loved it so much. Adam is such a great host.

The host was amazing, the rooms were amazing and the location was not a far drive to El Yunque and Luquillo Beach. Also a short drive to The Ceiba Ferry Terminal. We had an amazing time in Puerto Rico and will definitely return.

I'm Puerto Rican and love to her the sound of the Coqui, that place has 100's. We slept like babies. It was nice to be able to sleep until 9 am. I'm the 5 am person but not there. Owner was always available, these are two private beautiful, clean rooms with a gorgeous bathroom and 100% private. A nice gazebo with seating. That will be my place in PR

The absolute best thing for me was the softness of the sheets and the comfort these rooms provided from the high humidity and heat of Puerto Rico. For the most part, the description of the listing was accurate. Although not as pristine as pictured. The "kitchen" is not a full kitchen rather a little nook with the basics that Adam called the coffee station. There is no espresso machine, coffee grinder, or ice maker that we saw. Also, we were told to only turn one appliance on at a time due to a power surge that would occur from the overload of power. Even just turning on the heating element blew the power. Resetting the power, we found out why and it was concerning to see how everything was connected behind the mini-refrigerator. We made the mistake of purchasing quite a bit of groceries during our two-week stay, most of which we couldn't store in the "kitchen" and some of which the homeowner thankfully allowed us to store in his freezer. The Internet speed was not as high as I was accustomed to, so I defaulted to using my phone hotspot. Communication with the homeowner was easy—just a text or phone call away. Again, the rooms were comfortable, but there were some issues with the property. We had to navigate a brownout, and the water got shut off at the end of our trip for half a day. While it was not Adam's fault, it was an inconvenience. I definitely recommend you only stay 1 or 2 nights, rather than long-term.

We enjoyed our time here. Adam is very responsive. Although the listing indicates a "kitchen," you should know that the sink and stove-top are located outdoors and are uncovered. So if it rains, you're out of luck. Same with the outdoor sitting area, which is situated under nice, festive lights that are attached, unfortunately, to an overhead design that does not keep out the rain.

Great place near where we wanted to go for the weekend
This is a beautiful little place. It is just as described with the pictures online. Perfect for just a couple or very small family. We absolutely loved the backyard. The owner, Adam, was quick replying back to us whenever I had questions. Gave us a bunch of yummy recommendations for places to eat including links to those places. He also provided very detailed information on how to get here. House is located inside a gated community very quiet and pretty little homes. We were all very impressed and happy with our stay. Will definitely stay again if I come near this area in the future. Highly recommend

The property was great; clean, cute backyard, safe location, and easy dealing with host. Adam was fast to respond and very keen to take good care of us. The kitchen area is very small; it has a mini fridge and only a hot plate & microwave. I wouldn't plan on doing much cooking. The outside grill area has a sink but there's no kitchen sink. The address listed on VRBO did not bring us to the correct location; get the address from the host. The property lists a location of a 3 min walk to the malecon but it's longer than that-- more accurate to say 5 min drive and maybe 25 min walk. It was fun to try out different restaurants every night. The owners of Super Benjy's were so nice- we look forward to going back. The locals were so kind and welcoming. It was a great experience.
