Great hotel with friendly staff

Pros: Quieter location, walking distance to shopping, historic quarter and Port Nalano / Garibaldi stations. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy.
Cons: Book with information on hotel and room facilities would be useful in each room, if only to stop asking reception staff lots of questions !
Location: Naples a dirty city,disregard for clean streets & public areas, pizza boxes litter even upmarket areas. Good transport to Pompeii & Amalfi / Capri tho
A lovely hotel located on the edge of the historic quarter. There is relatively little traffic noise due to traffic limitations in the immediate vicinity, but the hotel rooms are sound proofed and you hear nothing from other guests or the outside world. Hotel staff friendly and happy to help with queries about services and the local area. Hotel spotlessly clean, with good general facilities in the room (we had a Junior suite since we had our teenage son with us). A welcome book/hotel guide in the room might have been useful, if only to inform that the air con only operated with the external door fully closed (yes, a very hot night after my son left the door open an inch !). Breakfast was self service with a small selection of hot and cold items, plus the usual cereals , fruit and pastries - enough to satisfy most guests but don't expect an extensive hot cooked breakfast selection like corporate hotel chains. Can't fault the hotel , its a small boutique style property with good service.

La chambre était grande, haute de plafond et lumineuse, très agréable. Le personnel charmant et attentionné, le petit déjeuner copieux, une bonne adresse avec un bon rapport qualité-prix.
