Our bathroom had no shower curtain so we called the front desk. They responded that housekeeping will come and install. Never came until after we took shower. Shower made mess out of the whole suit. During checkout we informed and asked them to give another night stay at hyatt as complementary but they would not do it because we had booked through Expedia. It was hyatt fault not expedias,

Wonderful friendly staff. Reasonable walk to downtown. We had a very pleasant stay but be aware of $25 per night parking. Also, low flying private jets and planes approaching directly above while you’re trying to relax at the pool was annoying.

The bikes are an added fee. I wish we would’ve known that booking because it was something we were very excited about. There’s things in walking distance but it wasn’t busy or things weren’t open. Good for a night or two

Arrived about 9:30 on Fri night. Bar open until 11pm but all of the tables in the bar had already been turned up with chairs resting on top of tables. Not inviting at all to hang out and have a few drinks. Took drinks outside and the premium spot on boardwalk was occupied by the hotel workers drinking and blasting their music. Again not inviting. What is driving the terrible rating is being trapped in elevator for several minutes. Totally understand that happens but it was the lack of any type of response or communication that they were working on it that caused my wife to have a anxiety attack, especially after the elevator had jolted several times. When I reported to management the response was something like oh well, sorry, that happens. Just a total lack of any care that we had just experienced a not so pleasant experience. I was referred to the GM who I called immediately and left a message, but no call back after 24 hours (that said they are preparing for a hurricane so way more important issues to take care of). In general it seems like management is asleep at the wheel. Other than that, the place is nice enough and in a good walkable location.
