Character and charm for this stone cottage situated in a vineyard in operation at the edge of a small village, between the Corbières and Minervois. It is nestled in the heart of a panorama of landscapes, that this house is step between relaxation and discovery. This base is close to all tourist interests in the region: the Canal du Midi and Carcassonne (all 2 World Heritage Sites of UNESCO), the Cathar castles and abbeys, the village of Minerve on its rocky peak, the lake of Jouarre with sailing base ... and the white sandy beaches of Gruissan at 48 km.

The vineyard has 3 cottages this cottage, an other one for 5 people and the last one only for 2 people. These 3 cottages share the large pool.
The 160 m² divided on 2 levels is comfortably equipped for 6 people.
At ground floor: large living room of 45 m² with lounge and dining room, kitchen and separate toilet.
On 1st floor: 1 large bedroom with 2 double beds and 1 other bedroom with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Each of the 2 rooms has its private shower room with separate toilet.
The cottage has a private terrace facing the pool. Swimming pool of 12 m X 5 m offers 3 separate spaces : 1 American beach 0.40 m deep for small children, a wading pool of 1 m depth for children and an other space with 1.90 m depth. It is availbable from begining of April to the end of October.
Parking off road on the ground. Views over the pool and the hills of the Minervois. Free wireless connection. Sorry no pet allowed.

A very peaceful location.
We had a lovely stay at Montbrun des Corbieres. The village is very quaint, no shops or boulangerie, but a very good bread vending machine once you got the hang of it.! Great location for touring the Languedoc-Roussillon region, within 1.15 hours drive of Perpignan, Montpelier, Toulouse etc. 25 mins from Carcassonne and Narbonne. Canal du Midi 15 mins. Check out La Redorte for great canal side restaurant. Beware most restaurants in the area close at 2pm and re open at 7pm. So if you are eating out don’t go out hungry or bring a baguette in your handbag!! Most shops close for a few hours in the afternoon too. At the house the pool was lovely, the house was very clean and the owners were lovely, no English spoken. However, if they spent a little money on comfortable mattresses and more comfortable sun loungers I would have given 5 stars. Whole family lost sleep on rock hard beds.

Das Haus war sehr schön und groß, der Pool sehr gut um sich nach einem langen Tag kurz abzukühlen. Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub und die Unterkunft hat sehr zur Entspannung beigetragen. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan und waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mit deepl und Händen und Füßen und Freundlichkeit geht jede Verständigung;-)

Het verblijf was fijn en de ontvangst heel gemoedelijk. De eigenares is een oudere dame. De woonst is heel ruim. Het kan wel wat modernisatie gebruiken.

Wundervoller Aufenthalt in toller Lage
Es mangelte uns an nichts in diesem liebevoll eingerichteten Haus. Wir genossen den Aufenthalt auf der Terrasse, von der es einen sehr schönen Blick ins Hinterland gibt, und natürlich auch am unerwartet großen Pool. Obwohl das Haus an einer D-Straße liegt, war es dort ausgesprochen ruhig, weil fast kein Verkehr ist. Familie Galy kümmerte sich sehr liebenswürdig um alle Belange. In der Domaine gibt es selbst hergestellten Wein zu genießen und auch zu kaufen. Wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Le gîte est très confortable mais il manque des commerces de proximité
La description des lieux est trop flatteuse. Le gîte est le long d'une route et le parking indiqué sur le domaine est un large trottoir entre la porte du gite et la route . Peu de produits d'entretien en dépannage.
