A spacious, clean motel along the Newell Highway
It was nice to arrive to an already heated air conditioned room on a cold evening. Was greeted by Reception and the checking in process was simple. We had a spacious clean room with a kitchenette and ensuite. For travellers it is good stopover on the Newell Highway. We were told by Reception they get many regulars stay, mostly tradies working in the district.

New owner was welcoming and friendly. They delivered what was booked and warned about a crowded breakfast room at a specific time due to a bus tour and recommended a local eating establishment across the street. Recommend this motel.

We loved the big spacious room. The court yard was also a really good feature. Would liked to given a 5 star rating but a couple of issues stopped us from doing so. The pavers along the footpath need relaying and a few smaller issues like a very noisy kettle which was hard to turn on at the switch. No soap for if you opt to have a bath and not a shower. Over all though I would have given a 4.6 star rating if possible but just fell a little short of a 5.

Happy customer
Really clean rooms, quiet and comfortable beds. Great having the bowls club next door for meals as well! Only recommendation I would suggest would be to change out the spa for a normal bath if it’s no longer usable. Second visit and am going to make it my regular stop when travelling through.
