They called me the night before we arrived and tried to cancel my room because of some door lock issues. I told them to get the manager to call me back ASAP. Upon arrival the front door person was eating dinner and I felt like I was bothering her. Got locked out of our room because the reader was not working. The pool and hot tub were also closed. Ridiculous the way the hospitality industry is today. At check out they said nothing to me. Not even how was your stay sir? Find something else in the area.

I had an excellent experience at Aqua Blue. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Building is very dirty and lack of upkeep. They are just bleeding- overcharging customers for a one star hotel. Motel 6 or Motel 8 should buy 3 acres next to it and give them some competition.

The room and hotel were clean, however, there could be some updates within the room and the hotel. Our bathroom and room had no where to hang our towels. It looked like there was a towel hook on the door at one point, but just two holes in the door. Some stains on the carpets within the rooms and hallways, but overall the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The balcony was nice to be able to get fresh are, but also could be updated or a chair out on the deck.
