We checked in with high hopes. Reveiws and pictures looked amazing. Check-in was smooth but that is where it ended. The room view was of a parking garage/homeless encampment. The hot water didn’t work, the second room had a massive leak under the carpet (they did move them after talking to more than one person, first person told us they can’t do anything). At checkout we learned that there is a $25/night fee per room that covers $15 for restaurants per day, we paid for all of our food not knowing about this. Location and hotel are really nice, customer service are less than zero.

We loved our stay here. The decor was very well done. The room was very clean. The hotel was only about two blocks from the Ryman and Broadway. Far enough away from the “action” to be quiet but super convenient. It also backs up to Printers Alley, so great restaurants and nightlife is literally steps away. We would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at the Booby for 6 yrs and was always pleased. We had not been there in 3 years. I treated another couple to attend our trip bragging about the Bobby. From the time we checked in, when we got to the rooms and found them to be too small for the size of the king beds. At no time should you ever have a king bed without two nightstands. The room should have a queen bed at best. There was no luggage rack. the hotel did not have all the news channels. The toilet tissue was so paper-thin that it shredded upon use. There were only four hangers in the closet. I found the room to be extremely inconvenient.

Went with some friends and chose the Bobby hotel, which was a very unique hotel. The main attraction for us was the bus bar upstairs and the Winter Wonderland. When we got there it was restricted to reservations only and a minimum fee to use igloos. It seemed underutilized because of that reason. We felt we could have enjoyed that amenity and would have spent more time there just for drinks and not have to spend $125 but there was a limit to using the igloos .Food and drink weren’t always available either. We requested room services a couple of times and it wasn’t provided. Rooms were well stocked. But very dark .Overall it was good

Great place to stay

It started out not so good because we were put in a small room with no view. But when we complained they switched us to a better room the next day and we were very happy. Very cool place. Looks just like the pics online and great location.
