Comfortable, clean, quiet location. Well stocked with linens, kitchen and bath supplies. Convenient location. Hosts are very accommodating. An awesome 2 weeks at the Johnny cabin!

What an amazing trip ! Such a cute house with an awesome history! We literally only had to drive like 30 mins or so to Nashville. We had a such a great time . Definitely will be back !

Thoughtful Cabin Stay
I was impressed at some of the little touches the home owner made a point for us to have on our stay such as the log in the fireplace and some wood for the outside pit. Also the owner touched base upon our arrival to ensure we were all set for our stay. Very thoughtful hosts. Everything else met or exceeded our expectations. Was the perfect holiday getaway for our family.

More Beautiful than the Pictures
We fell in love with Johnny’s Cabin the minute we drove up! Privacy, tranquility, and beauty orly 18 miles from Nashville. Rocking on the front porch, for us, was a welcome ending to a day of touring. (The “kids” meanwhile enjoyed the best of Broadway!) As for the inside, it is exactly as pictured, beautifully renovated with all the comforts of home. We appreciated the documents showing chain of ownership, and Joy (host) is the best ever. I have no doubt we’ll be back!

Very relaxing
Property was quiet and beautiful, and just far enough away so that it wasn’t inconvenient to go to other places of interest. Perfect location for our softball tournament in Hendersonville Tn. Only thing I would change are the eating utensils, they were shaped weirdly. I would definitely recommend this cabin and host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, a quick 25-minute Lyft into the city and were able to relax and enjoy the quiet and less crowded town during the day. The cabin was comfortable and well-appointed. Thank Joy for a wonderful stay we created some fun memories!

Great getaway close to Broadway
This cabin is perfect. Rustic yet completely modern with all the comforts of home. Very easy drive in Nashville. It was nice to stay away from all of the commotion of the city in the peaceful cabin. The hosts were fantastic, easily accommodated our scheduling and the communication was quick. I highly recommend this stay.

Cutest cottage ever!
We truly enjoyed this quaint country cottage cabin! It’s nestled in a safe area tucked away in the woods with that feeling you’ve escaped from the City! It is a Trek back and forth, 30 or so with traffic to the city but we need a spacious spot for my teens and this was perfect! We will definitely be back!

Lovely Johnny Cabin
Loved everything about this property! We went to Nashville for a Predators game & the commute was easy and around 25min. It was nice to come out to the cabin & have privacy after all the hustle & bustle of the city. The host was fantastic & prompt with replies. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, reading the history of the property & just the overall decor of the cabin. Would stay here again if ever back in Tennessee. 10/10.

We escaped to Johnny Cabin for a weekend with college friends and their babies. The location was great and property was adorable. Location - about 40 mins from BNA and 15-20 mins from lots of restaurants and grocery stores in Hendersonville. Cabin - super cute space, well laid out and utilized. Sat by the fire as the snow fell. We were able to cook meals at the cabin as there were quite a few pots, pans, plates, etc available to use. Charcoal grill came in handy for steaks. Heat worked well, a little too well up in the loft - put your always cold friends or family up there or sleep with the window open. Joy stopped over to bring a shovel and salt as snow was expected and gave us some neat info and history about the property itself which was fun to hear. Overall a wonderful place to relax, eat too much, catch up with friends, play games, and watch snow fall.

Our family had a great stay at Johnny’s Cabin. Cabin was clean and well equipped. Location was away from the city, but close enough (35min) to make a trip to downtown easy. We enjoyed the coziness and warmth of the cabin and the history. A suggestion for improvement would be more hooks for hanging clothing and more towel bars or a rack for hanging wet towels. But we managed with a group of 6 without much inconvenience. Joy was great to work with and communication was prompt. We would recommend this cabin and may well return in the near future. Thank you Joy!

Beautiful cabin
This was a beautiful cabin in suburban Hendersonville. The kitchen was well appointed, the shower powerful and bed comfortable. The only downside-was on a busy street so it was treacherous to stop and access the acutely shaped driveway at night, we heard a fair amount of road noise (not constantly, but we noticed motorcycles, trucks, ambulances…) and the walls between the two adjoining bedrooms were paper thin. We loved the decor, the welcoming snacks and elevation of the home. It never felt like anybody could see in and the back porch abutted a stone wall-more privacy! It had a fascinating history which was fun to read about. The owners did a great job setting up and maintaining this cabin. It was spotlessly clean and they thought of everything. They even had shampoo and cream rinse if you forgot yours! We had a wonderful time and gave this 5 stars because the minor concerns above couldn’t be resolved in any conceivable way. Thank you for having us!!!
