Weekend stay
The trailer was very clean except for the oven area. Also the trailer was not on the water as pictured. The host was not very responsive. The location to Front St was nor too far.

Nov weekend stay
The inside was beautiful, and all the necessities were provided. What we did not realize is that the location was on a regular street with locals living on each side, but we had no issues and the neighborhood was quiet. The only turn off was that on the front porch there was an old chair with an old table that had an ash tray and a bucket full of cigarette buds. Once you were inside you had that vacation feeling. It was also close to the plantations and about 10 minutes from Natchitoches.

Like staying at a good friends’ home
First, we never intended to stay at this property. The original VRBO we had booked canceled last minute, because of flooding in that area. When we arrived, we were very pleased with the cleanliness, and beyond the normal comforts were available, should we need anything. We travel with all of our own blankets, and even pack laundry soap and dishwasher detergents, but had we needed for anything, the host had seen to every detail. A few nice games were available for the kids, throw blankets were rolled and in a basket near the sitting area, ironing board, camp chairs, even a fishing pole, or two. Again, we travelled with our fishing poles, but had forgotten our chairs. It was very nice to have the host remember them for us. It was like being invited to a good friend’s home. The AC was cold, water pressure was great, all around A+ host and property.

Louisiana Experience
We especially appreciated that the cabin had three bedrooms. It was will equipped for my two sons and I to have breakfast and dinner in the cabin. It was conveniently located to see what all Natchitoches,LA was about. Taylor, our host, was gracious in welcoming us to the cabin with the information we needed.

Book with caution.
Check in was a nightmare. We arrived from California ready to check in, and it took us over two hours to get a hold of the property owner to get access to the house.

Interesting
This property had everything we needed. It was decorated very nicely, was close to historical sites plus a short drive to Natchitoches LA. Host was responsive, pleasant and said to make sure to contact her if we needed anything. Will rent again if I come to this location. Will refer to anyone I know headed that way.

Well supplied kitchen!
I was impressed by the supplies available in the kitchen. It's worth checking what's there before buying supplies. Quiet neighborhood close to Cane River Creole National Historical Park and Natchitoches.
