I have stayed at the riu back in 2022 and I loved it. I'm not sure if the staff have changed but nobody is friendly. The quality of food is very poor I didn't enjoy the jerk hut but I left the resort to eat

The staff was PHENOMENAL!! DO YOU HEAR ME - PHENOMENAL!! Despite being personally affected by Hurricane Beryl that had taken place about a week before my trip, the staff was pleasant and seemed to care about my comfort and enjoyment. The food and drinks were really good and diverse. I have zero complaints. The premises was clean and well kept.

The staff was PHENOMENAL!! DO YOU HEAR ME - PHENOMENAL!! Despite being personally affected by Hurricane Beryl that had taken place about a week before my trip, the staff was pleasant and seemed to care about my comfort and enjoyment. We went for our anniversary in July of 2024 and had an amazing time. Reserve your dinners asap because the restaurants are small and fill up quickly. My only complaint is no elevators at this resort and we were on the third floor.
