Nestled in Harbor Country's heart, our retreat is ideal for weekend escapes, families, or groups. Pets? They're welcome, with a secure fenced backyard for their delight. Experience New Buffalo's allure from our refined abode.

The Space:
Step into our tastefully updated three-bedroom residence in New Buffalo's prime location. With a convenient ramp entrance, this single-story home radiates comfort. The master bedroom boasts a queen bed and a smart TV, the second room offers a cozy full bed, and the third presents a well-designed bunk bed—full mattress below with a twin atop. Should you need more sleeping space, a queen air mattress is on hand, and our living room sofa provides an extra resting spot.

The enclosed backyard is both spacious and pet-friendly, complete with a grill, inviting patio tables, a fire pit, and ample seating for relaxed gatherings.

In line with New Buffalo's regulations, a camera is discreetly positioned at the front, overseeing the entrance and driveway. This ensures compliance with our guest count and four-vehicle limit while also ensuring no unexpected gatherings. Moreover, it adds an element of security for our esteemed guests. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

Guest Access:
"Enjoy full access to our humble home. For parking, utilize only the driveway. Under no circumstances should vehicles be parked on the street. If additional space is needed, you're welcome to position your vehicle parallel to the street within the front yard."

The Neighborhood:
We are located just just west of the main strip of new buffalo. It's just a few minutes walk to the marina, and another 10 minutes or so to downtown and the beach. There are several restaurants in the area, along with a winery only a couple blocks away.

Restaurants

Here are a few of our favorite local restaurants nearby. There are well within walking distance, which is nice because parking can be somewhat difficult, especially in the summer months.

Rios Mexican Grill- fantastic drive through and walk up taco stand with outdoor seating available. This is one of our favorites, highly recommend the Shell-less burrito with spicy pork and avocado. You can order ahead of time online at riosmexicangrill.com or call (269)469-8011. They are located 3 blocks west and one block north on the corner of Eagle St. and W Buffalo Street (Route 12).

Jackie’s Cafe- Cheerful, independent eatery offering elevated American breakfast and brunch eats and a seasonal patio. Great place to walk to for breakfast and is located just one block east of Rio's on the corner of S. Chicago Street and W. Buffalo Street (Route 12)

David's Delicatessen & Coffee- Located in the middle of downtown on the West side of Whittaker street. Known for their rueben sandwiches but also have a great constantly varying menu based on what ingredients are available from local farmers. Great place for a quick, delicious, and healthy breakfast. Organic options available. Wonderful selection of coffees and teas as well as made fresh daily pastries. Really cool atmosphere with wonderful seating inside and out. This is our go-to for our coffee fix. Check out davidsdeliandcoffee.com for more info. open 7:30-4pm M W TH F 7:30-2pm on Tuesday and open 8am-4pm on weekends.

Bentwood Tavern- Waterfront dining on the New Buffalo Harbor. Artisan hand crafted cuisine crafted by local icon, Chef Jenny Drilon. We love this place. Perfect place to get dinner or start an evening out with cocktails on the rooftop bar overlooking the harbor! Located on the corner of W. Water street and N. Berrien St. inside of the Grand Marina resort. You can also rent bikes here!

Oink’s- Ice Cream Parlor and Frozen Yogurt Parlor with tons of flavors. Cash only. If you like ice cream, you like this place. Located just two blocks West and one block North on the corner of S. Smith Street and W. Buffalo Street (Route 12).

The Stray Dog Bar & Grill- Bright spot with wood tables & booths. Offers New American fare & wide beer list, plus rooftop patio and bar. Another one of our favorites. Located in the heart of downtown and near the beach. Perfect place for dinner and drinks. Would give a meal recommendation but honestly everything is great. Full bar, games on tv, lively atmosphere but also family friendly. They also have a gift shop with great souvenirs. Its a must while in town. Located on N. Whittaker Street (which is the main street through downtown) and E. Water Street. Check out thestraydog.com for more details and to take a look at the menu. SIT! STAY!

Casey’s New Buffalo- Steak, seafood & Italian fare in a 200- year old structure with an art deco bar & patio seating. All around great food, drinks, and atmosphere.

I loved the property, we only stayed overnight but it could be a fantastic place to base a longer trip with big deck and comfortable, relaxing interior. Appreciate the free snacks and helpful communication from management. Excellent location near beach and downtown.

A Quick Getaway in New Buffalo
Although our stay was brief . . . this property was just what we needed. A nice place to stay within walking distance of restaurants and bars in New Buffalo. We didn’t arrive until late . . . and checked out the next morning . . . so we didn’t get to enjoy all the property has to offer. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our standard poodles. Next time . . . we look forward to enjoying the fire pit!!

There had been a bad storm the day before we arrived. The property was all cleaned up, no yard debris. Neighbors nice, neighborhood was walkable to downtown shops, restaurants & beach. House was cozy & nice. Thanks for the great movie channels! Did question the house keeper due to sheets and pillowcases on the bed, wet citrus in the washer on arrival. Alittle more care of wiping off table outside & inside but maybe they were in a hurry due to the store. We would stay there again.and had a great time & great communication with the owners. Thank you!

Girls weekend
This place is perfect for A small getaway. My six friends and I stayed here for one night and it was great. Even though there wasn’t only one bathroom there are mirrors in every room which means someone can take a shower while someone else is getting ready. They have an outdoor sitting area. There’s also a fire pit which we didn’t get to use, but we wanted to so bad, we only stayed one night. This place is super clean and overall very pleasant. Thank you so much!

Short trip happy dog
It was the perfect short getaway. I thought New Buffalo beach permitted dogs. They do not. I took my pup up to Warren Dune's dog beach $11 park entry fee, and so worth it
