Best stay of our trip
We spent a week in New England and this was by far the best accommodation. There was a lovely sitting room with a fireplace and coffee all day long. The breakfast was restaurant quality, delicious and healthy - freshly cooked eggs, plain Greek yogurt with berries, overnight oats, fresh pastries, etc. Our king room was fantastic with comfortable mattresses and even a fake fireplace with remote control. Despite the cold weather we still enjoyed the lake and beachfront, our toddler loved throwing rocks in the water. The natural setting was absolutely beautiful. Hoping to come back one day and this time will stay longer. You need a whole day to just relax and soak it all in!

Beautiful property, historic, spotless. Wish we had got there earlier to enjoy the lake. It was dark when we arrived. Check in lady was delightful. We would have stayed later in the week on our way back but they were booked up.

The staff were fantastic. Warm and very helpful. They do teamwork well. The breakfasts were excellent. Our room had a sitting room which we enjoyed. The lake is nearby. You could walk or drive. Theres a lifeguard or two from 10 to 5 andvthe water is remarkably clean and clear. The breakfasts were extraordinary with a menu that changed daily. And a self serve area with perfectky fresh cut fruit, delicious Greek yogurt, granola, in house made pastries and a variety of juices.

Good one night stay
We spent one night at the Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was (very) small but sufficient. Bathroom was also very small. We did have some issues with the water temp in the shower though. Outside grounds are lovely and well cared for. Views are beautiful!

Pleasant lake inn very pleasant!
Room 10 had 2 windows with a view of pleasant lake! Comfortable bed ; a bit cool AC at night - found a blanket in closet Great showr despite small size. Overall staff wonderful; friendly and efficient. Great breakfast made to order. Inviting lake Was able to enjoy a small plates menu before a local show and entertained friends in the salon for happy hour. Great stay and totally recommend.

Lovely property, quintessential New England Inn on a a lake. Lots of Adirondack chairs and chairs to admire views over the lake. Has canoes, paddle boards and a row boat free for use of their guests, (although unfortunately someone had stolen the drain plug for row boat so we went out it sank) Check the plug! No harm done, we were only in a foot of water.

Beautiful historic inn set in the tranquility of mother nature, across from Pleasant Lake with trails in walking distance. Beautiful grounds with views of the lake from its many tables on a terrace, or if you prefer chairs on the lawn. After an hour long hike, I returned to have a delicious glass of Chardonnay on the terrace while listening to the birds. I was graced with witnessing a majestic blue heron fly by toward the lake...priceless... The room is clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The inn offers sitting rooms, a fireplace, games, books, and a dining area looking out onto the lake...just beautiful, comfortable and serene...
