Old hotel with lots of charm. You can tell it’s an old hotel but it’s been updated. Pros: Clean and well kept. Room was small but that comes with booking a historic hotel. Roy the Concierge was very friendly and helpful. Reception staff and front door staff were amazing. Cons: water pressure was terrible !! We were on the 5th floor. I’m sure it’s because it’s an old hotel so I understand but it’s definitely worth mentioning. Also, if you have any sort of trouble walking, ask for a room close to the elevator. We had a longggg walk to our room.

This hotel was a great place to stay. The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. Close by shops, restaurants and Bourbon street. We had a great time and would choose this hotel again because of the staff when going back for a visit. Thank you to them all for making our first time in New Orleans a memorable one! :)

They had a small dirty towel in the bathroom, when we checked in. There was no hot water for two days. When we called the front desk, they didn’t seem to do anything. We also mentioned it in person, and they brushed us off. Not a great front desk hospitality, as she was busy talking to her co-workers, and did not want to be bothered.

Mgmt. Rented out all shared spaces (pool, restaurant) to crypto company so we couldn’t use facilities for days. Tv didn’t work. Tv remote didn’t work. Room was not vacuumed. Broken shower. No hot water for showers. Premium room had very little furniture (desk, chairs). Do not go.

Love this property! We stayed here to get a balcony with view of St Louis Cathedral and it did not dissapoint. We were placed in the wrong area that overlooks Bourban street, but the front desk was quick to fix it and was super nice about it! You can barely hear the noise from Bourbon street but you will hear the cars with the loud music passing by at night. The back of the cathedral is steps away, Royal street with all the cool shops is closeby and so is lots of dinning and drinking options. The convenience was a selling point for me. Close to all the action yet super nice place. My room was super clean and comfortable. Elevator is accessible only with room key so I felt super safe. I always saw a doorman available. I highly recommend.

The staff were very polite. Our stay was good. The location was great and the hotel was grand. Our room was not serviced properly during our stay. Dirty sheets were left. Lotion and toilet paper were not replenished. Garbage was not emptied out.

No hot water for the entire week
The water situation really clouded our experience - not being able to get a decent shower in the whole time. The room was decent but a little dirty (especially in bathroom). Comfortable, good service, and right in the heart of the French Quarter. I wouldn't choose this hotel because of the hot water situation.

Walkable to the most of the major attractions in New Orleans! No need to rent a car if you stay at this location(French Quarter). This hotel is possibly the biggest and the best in this neighborhood

The staff was phenomenal! Everyone was so accommodating, helpful, how light, and just a joy. It's right in the heart of the French quarter, and at the same time when you retreat to your room for the evening it is quiet. It is meticulously clean. A shout out to front desk Unique; she is such a lovely young woman, went out of her way to help us, was so incredibly sweet and thoughtful. Wish I could have brought her home with me. If you wish to go to New Orleans and stay in the heart of the quarter Bourbon Orleans is the hotel for you.
