Room was nice but....
The establisment is clean, most of staff friendly, arrived Thanksgiving dayduring some unusual cold weather and Bayou Classic, no heat in room, had temp set at 85, room felt below zero all night. Asked morning desk person for a late check out needed to go pick up rental, female at front was not pleasant, and felt like she was using the potential loss of $50 deposit as a threat. Was able to arrive back and check out, got a room at a different place.

The landline phone and heater in the room were not working and I’ve reported it twice at the Reception but they didn’t take an action, I have to make a call to other state for the important matters but could not and that was disappointing. I just give a great rate for the housekeeping for keeping the hotel cleaned and organized, That’s it.

The property is dayed but in quite good condition. There was a moror noise at the end of the hall on the 2nd floor that was annoying. Overall it was a good visit. Breakfast was expensive so we didnt eat there.

It was our first time to New Orleans on a last minute trip and we were happy to find the Clarion. Check in and out was convenient. Room was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and it was a convenient location to catch an Uber to our cruise ship.
