When we originally booked out 2 night stay the reservation said 2 queen beds and our room had 2 double beds. The hotel is beautiful. The courtyard is lovely. The staff are amazing. Be sure to order a Bloody Mary from the Ice house lounge at the hotel. It was the best! We have no complaints. We were just bummed to have 2 double beds instead of queen.

The property was lovely and the pool was nice and the staff was excellent. We just happen to be there when they were doing some renovations so we didn’t really get to enjoy the beautiful courtyard but that really wasn’t their fault or our fault it just it was what it was.

We had a renovated room but there was renovations happening around so the outdoor areas by fountain and pool were a bit messy and loud. Bartenders James and Paul provided great service as did front desk. Close to french market and jackson square. Bourbon street but far enough away to be quieter

Amazing hotel for a first New Orleans trip
Our stay at Hotel Provincial was fantastic. It’s very centrally located, so if you’re a tourist planning to spend a lot of time around the French Quarter it’s perfect as you’re < 20 minute walk from a lot of the main attractions and bars. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and I think it had even recently been refurbished as it was very modern. The reception staff/concierge were great - they were very helpful (particularly Tony, who was so attentive), especially with giving us local food recommendations and getting a taxi organised to the airport. We really appreciated how polite and helpful all the staff were considering we visited whilst a tropical storm was in effect, meaning a lot of New Orleans was shut down. I would highly recommend this hotel to any first time visitors to New Orleans, and we will be coming to stay again if we revisit the city!
