It was an older facility but it was great for what we needed it for. It was perfect for our family. It was clean and a place to sleep near all of what we wanted to do . The only prob out suv was too big to fit into parking so we had to find other arrangements for it . Pillows needed updating . But other than that it was great. This hotel has a nostalgic feel for NOLA. Would visit again . You must also know that there’s alot of steps . Does have a small elevator that works only on the 2nd floor. But like I said it’s an older hotel , very quaint. No breakfast but there’s a shop directly across the street that sells homemade croissants . Everything was about .5 miles away. Great place

The perfect stay in the French Quarter. The room is historic feeling, but isnt that what you want when staying in this area? Try to get a balcony room because it added so much to the room. I would definitely stay here again!

Loved that this hotel was authentically shabby and old. Exactly what I want if I’m in the French Quarter. Plus, it’s one of the hotels reported to be haunted and on a lot of the walking tours. So fun!

Overall it was a great stay for a weekend getaway. Very clean room could have been upgraded on the air conditioning a tad bigger for that New Orleans summer heat.

The balcony was the best!
Very close to Burbon and French Quarters. The room was tiny but for the price and it was for only a one night stay it wasn’t bad. The elevator was a tad questionable and there is no a/c unless you are in the reception area or your room.

The hotel was in a good location for us. It was quiet and we felt safe. Its in the French quarter so its a very old building and has the quirks of an old building, which we actually like. It had an elevator, which was convenient and we had a small fridge in our room , which was a plus. It was clean and the mattress was VERY comfortable (also a pleasant surprise!) The negatives: the toilet was horrible. It took multiple flushes just to get toilet paper down. It would also spit water up. Gross! The toilet paper was the thinnest, worst paper I've ever seen. The tub enamel was chipping off so it didn't look clean even though we think it was. Our room was a "budget" room, so i get it, no real frills, but just one cheap piece of art on the wall would have brightened it up a bit. Overall, we would definitely stay again. Lov ed the quiet and the comfortable bed, and lets face it, you don't go to New Orleans to stay in the room!
