Summary:
This beautifully restored historic home in Fontainbleu is the perfect spot for your stay in New Orleans! With all the amenities you could ask for, you can enjoy a stress-free visit to New Orleans!

The Space:
Large Space with 3 bedrooms, and 1.5 baths, open kitchen and living area and a lovely backyard patio. The bedrooms feature luxury sheets and extremely comfortable beds. Boasting a gorgeous sunroom entrance, back, and side decks along with 11’’ ceilings, fireplaces, ceiling fans, and blinds throughout.
Handsome millwork, hardwood floors, one decorative fireplace, one gas log fireplace, and pretty stained glass in the hall bath are just a few of the historical touches throughout this home.

Guest Access:
Guest have access to the 3 bedroom and 1.5 bathroom home, as well as the driveway, front porch and backyard deck off of the kitchen. There is a separated studio and side deck off of the studio that guests do not have access to.

The Neighborhood:
This home is located in the highly desirable uptown neighborhood of Fontainbleau. Walking distance to the Carrolton streetcar, or easy driving access into downtown.

Getting Around:
Guests can park their car in the driveway and take the streetcar to get around the city.

Other Things to Note:
Per New Orleans City requirements, this contains a decibel monitoring device. The device is located in a common area and not in any bedroom or bathroom.

-Strictly quiet time after 10PM
-No smoking anything, including marijuana, inside the home.
-6 persons max occupancy

Awesome other than doorknobs
The house is a beautiful, eclectic mix of modern and refurbished! It was clean, pest-free and had everything we needed. The door to the master bedroom didn’t have a door knob, only a dead bolt style lock that we didn’t have the key to so privacy was an issue. Also, my daughter got stuck in the bedroom to the left because that door knob didn’t function properly. Thankfully, after 8 tense minutes, we got the knob to engage the striker but she didn’t shut her door completely after that leaving her, 17, with little privacy. Overall, it was just what we wanted: a house with character just on the outskirts of the hustle and bustle of the city!

Great family experience
My husband and I booked this stay for a 3 night staycation in New Orleans. We’re from the Baton Rouge area and wanted a nice close summer vacation and we were not disappointed! The neighborhood was so cute and all the surrounding neighbors were so nice. We felt safe. We made friends with the store clerk around the corner at the Super Serve, Mike, who has owned the store for over 20 years. Our two children, 2 and 4 years old, and my mother tagged along for this vacation and there was so much room in the house for everyone. We rode the bus and the streetcar to the zoo and to the aquarium while we were in town. My husband and I also got a chance to sneak away for a quick date night by riding the streetcar down to Thai Mint. There were so many good restaurants close by and the house was just so cozy. Everything was perfect. We enjoyed our experience! Highly recommended!

Great location
This was a perfect house for our family (2 Adults, 2 kids). Away from the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter but close to everything. Nice quiet safe neighborhood! The house had plenty of room for us to spread out and the off street parking was a nice perk so you didn’t have to search for parking. It’s a tight squeeze to pull in and out of the driveway but it’s NOLA and that’s to be expected! Air conditioner was amazing and kept the house very cool in the LA heat. Hosts were very responsive and made check in and check out a breeze. The beds were a little noisy and creaked when you moved in your sleep and the mattresses should probably be upgraded but no other complaints at all. Highly recommend. We did not cook at all while we were here but the kitchen seemed fully stocked!

This is quiet relaxing property that is very spacious , less then 10 min drive to downtown attractions . Walking distance to neighborhood Panola St cafe which is great spot for breakfast /brunch , also short drive to Mid-Town for other restaurants. Clean house , shower water pressure / hot water is good , wifi and tv apps work smoothly , I would recommend this to anyone visting NOLA !!!!!

Family honor event
House was large, clean and spacious and near our event. Well equipped. Two sinks were slow to drain and front yard needed sprucing up. Overall , everyone very pleased . Would recommend.
