Olivier House is a premier hotel in the French Quarter of New Orleans. A unique setting full of charm and a bit of old world style. The public areas are comfortable and interesting. The hotel is clean and the staff were attentive and friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable. A unique space that was a wonder. The balcony was comfortable and allowed us a view over the city. Overall this was a great experience. Special thanks to John who gave us great dining recommendations and ideas of spots to visit.

Unique property but $ need to be spent updating beds and floors that are not level and slanting so walking inside the room is sometimes difficult. Noisy, all hours from people walking and driving. Horns honking until early morning hours. To be somewhat expected being close to Bourban Street but exhausting

the Olivier House is beautiful. we had room 111 (a loft room) and it was so awesome. the whole property is so cool. the outside is deceiving, the property is HUGE! It’s an older establishment like most of the french quarter, but would rather stay here than any of the “chain” hotels. the front desk staff was very nice and helpful. free coffee (regular and espresso!) and water for guests. the lobby cats are also very sweet and welcoming. the pool is gorgeous and just what we needed after walking around (still humid here in LA in sept 😂) each room has individual aesthetic, you feel like you are staying in a plantation home. you definitely want to stay here to get the whole NOLA experience. and location is absolutely perfect. you are almost smack dab in the middle of the french quarter. i can see why people say they will only stay here from now on. we were so impressed 💖

I liked the lobby and old style feel, but our room had torn curtins and the bolts on the balcony were pulling out of the wall so we couldn't use it for safety reasons. Definitely in need of some repairs to property.

So glad we decided to book this gorgeous hotel for our New Orleans trip. It is very old world beautiful, with lots of quirky and thoughtful touches throughout. The location couldn't be better for access to the main tourist stuff, and the staff were super helpful and great for local recommendations.

I thought the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. It was really nice to have the cats around and coffee/snacks. However, our room was in need of some repairs. The couch was very old, looked as though it had never been cleaned, and was very uncomfortable to sit on. It is a beautiful property, but there were many areas which needed repair. For example, our bathroom faucet was broken and the roof leaked in the common area. The housekeeping would make the bed and change the towels, but left the rest of the room untouched. I realize it’s only a 2 star property but I expected a bit better.
