This Wyndham is a block from Bourbon Street and half a block from Canal Street. The location was perfect. I didn't have a car but there is a garage connected to the hotel so parking is convenient. The gym and pool are nice even though I didn't grt to use them. I would definitely stay here again!

Hotel was great however we didn’t have a microwave. I thought it was standard. Great location. Near a variety of restaurants. The street where hotel is located smells like urine. Otherwise great stay. Will book again WITH a microwave.

This is a basic place to stay. So know this upfront. Bed was comfortable, water was hot for a shower-most of the time. I had a nice view. The staff was very nice. An upgrade for this property could make it nice. It’s in a great location though Bourbon street made it loud (even at my high floor). No refrigerator in my room, no restaurant on site (so no room service), desk chair too gross to use, pool not clean, very tiny workout facilities. 5 elevators but seems only 1-2 working.

Great trip to New Orleans. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Cleaning staff did a wonderful job every day. Very close to everything we wanted to see.

The lobby was beautiful and inviting. It’s obvious the rooms need to be remodeled. Overall it was a decent stay but the bathrooms could use an overhaul, a major one. They were not cleanest and the popcorn ceiling was even nastier. But all of the hotels in the French Quarter have always been nasty.

Room was an ok size but decor and carpets were dated. Bathroom was poor with mirror peeling off, a dripping bath tap, finishes to the bath peeling off and a big rust hatch over the bath/shower. Was quite expensive due to events at the weekend we stayed which also meant the hotel was full and we couldn't move or get late checkout. Which wasn't their fault but compounded our issues.

The man at the checkout was rude. I layed down our hotel keys and one slid he told me very rudely that you shouldn't lay down your keys on the counter. Also there was a cockroach in our bathroom on the second day we stayed there. The location was good and the day staff was friendly on the other two days that we stayed.

Renovation required
It was ok, i didn't know there was no restaurant or bar in the hotel. The store in front of building was not the best view. I felt uncomfortable going in and out. Also, the smell in the hotel and outside was not good.
