We paid for internet and it didn't reach the 10th floor. There was no TV remote. We asked for a remote and refund for the internet, but the host never reached out to us (I had called, texted, and sent message on this website, nothing). I asked daily at the lobby for a remote, refund for internet, and they kept telling me to ask the next morning and they would tell the owner. The next morning, the same thing. Finally, the lobby said he spoke to the owner, and she said there was a tv remote in the room, but it was hidden. He didn’t know where it was hidden. Why not put it on a table? The remote was not in the unit. I asked for new towels on the 3rd day there, lobby didn't give them. On the 4th day, I asked for towels again, they begrudgingly gave us 2 towels, even though we had 5 people in our room. We were there for 6 days and only received 2 new towels. There was no housekeeping, which is ok, but at least provide towels.There was a mouse and a mouse hole. Wedid not receive the room we requested when we booked. It had a different layout, it was 2 doubles and a twin, all in a triple bunk bed. The people sleeping on the bottom bed has about 2.5 ft to crawl in. The railing for the bunk bed was loose. There was mold in the shower. The stools were the same height as the table, so we ate sitting on the floor. The place is affordable and walking distance to Empire State Building and Times Square, but the customer service was horrendous. Be prepared to never hear back from the host.

Stayed here with 2 other people, it’s small but the location is unmatched for the price, bathrooms and showers are shared but never was a problem for us. Some hidden fees upon arrival but nothing major. Very nice staff would stay here again!

to start the property is in great location to everything....seemed like your avg. place to stay when got there. First knew place was small....picked the shared bathroom vs common....thinking we would share with another room...not the case it was shared with many people. other issue was the shower....its a box an no where to put your clothes....wasnt expecting that. wish they would list what your bathroom actually is. so we went to bed to wake up to our food sitting on the counter had holes in the bags....bag of candy looked to be chewed up....then saw turds and knew there were mice so we thought. Told the front about it but they acted like who is your host...didnt know what that was....just went thru expedia....but to find out must be places that are owned and then rented out so no one to assist you. needed another pillow to find out you only get what your "host" leaves, well went to bed to wake up to hearing feet/nails running across the floor and hearing something in our garbage can. to find out it was a RAT!!!!! I couldnt.....reached out to the front nothing,....messaged on expedia nothing.....pulled out fridge to see where it could come from to find rat traps behind fridge!!!! NO WHERE IN AD DID IT SAY WE WOULD HAVE ROOMMATES CRITTERS!!! I messaged asking for a refund and no response. Great location but wish i had known before i took this place. NOT HAPPY AS NOW THEY WONT MESSAGE BACK....WOULD LOVE TO SHARE PICS!!!

A LOT of hidden fees, absolutely ridiculous! The locks on the doors are so confusing, which made me and my friend feel unsafe! Communal bathrooms and no paper towels or anything to dry your hands?!! There’s no covers for the beds just a thin sheet like what?

Basic and costly accommodation but you pay for the central location. The Receptionist's attitude felt unwelcoming as if we (and other guests) were a hinderance to her day. A simple smile and pleasant attitude goes a long way.
