This property is just okay. The bed and sheets and pillows are clean but not very soft to sleep in. The water pressure is great. They are VERY TINY rooms - like literally one step from the edge of the king bed and you're in the bathroom! I've never had a front desk person say - your room is ready but if I check you in prior to 2pm, you'll automatically be up charged $35.... and they will gladly give you a late checkout but will charge you it's $50 per hour if you ask for it... I just felt a little nickel and dimed and it was $675 for 1 night so it's not like it was cheap. The breakfast is also very bare bones but they basically throw in a $25 coupon to eat there so it doesn't seem quite as bad.

Where to start… Valet - put a car in, they lost the keys, then the car for 3hrs, had to trek 4 blocks to garage to collect car, only to find upon arrival that Valet (who ignore calls) found keys / car and had driven it to hotel, where they dumped it and left us to walk all the way back. Hotel Manager comped ticket, so other than massive inconvenience, at least we didn’t pay. Deluxe room - smallest room for this room rate I think I’ve had ever, no room upgrade given. It’s ok equipped, bed base in terrible condition and hella noisy, I dread to think noise that would be created if you were ‘enjoying’ your time in NYC intimately with someone. Breakfast - was good! Especially for a VIP comped perk! Drinks vouchers - good luck spending them.. Elevators - ridiculous, bar on 40th for is insanely busy from 7pm onwards, getting an elevator is a 15min wait to get to your room every time, beyond annoying, just dedicate 1 of the 3 to the bar and let guests have 2!! It’s the same at morning checkout, lobby crew constantly take up the elevators loading them full of guest stored luggage, which again means you just wait whilst they use them for hotel stuff instead of a service elevator. Late checkout - 3 days before stay offered a late checkout - paid $125 to checkout at 6pm, confirmed it at checkout - constantly and aggressively bothered by room service (inc a call to say they’d been in my room and I’d left stuff!) 9am, 10am 11am, 3pm (call) - key stopped working twice!

This property is great location. Great customer service and the rooftop bar is amazing. Has a great view and it also has an outdoor area. Just stunning. I would definitely definitely stay here again.
