It was affordable, and the digital key code checkin was great. My room was right off the lobby, and anything happening in the lobby was audible. For the price it was clean and provided a good place to sleep.

Clean and comfortable no frills room, with mini fridge and microwave and coffee maker. Nice closet and desk space too. I opted for a private bathroom option, and there was good shower pressure. The bed and pillows/linens were very comfortable. It's definitely a stay for those who are wanting to be out on the town more than in. Staff were very kind, and it was a quiet stay (over a weekend).

I had a quick work trip and stayed for one night. I was on the 2nd floor so that was easy (5th floor with no elevator would have been less desirable). Never spoke to anyone as I received my hotel and room codes the day before. All codes worked. Room is small as was expected for NYC but very clean. I had a private bathroom that was very clean and had a hairdryer. I would stay here again.

My friends and I stayed for 4 nights and we loved it! The Chelsea area feels very safe, especially for three young women. The staff answered all our questions and were very nice and helpful :-) Our room was clean and the AC worked well. Would definitely come back and stay if I ever visit NYC again!

It was a great stay at the Chelsea Inn. Room was clean, AC worked amazing for the hot weekend, bathroom was very clean. It was in the perfect location as we did all of the tourist attractions that we want and it was central to everything. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family!
