The property has some maintenance issues like the dripping sink in the bathroom and the general condition of the room. The housekeeping staff was very friendly but the front desk staff should smile and be more welcoming.

This hotel is in a fantastic location. We were able to store our luggage until time for check in and again after we checked out, which gave us more time to explore since our flight didn’t leave until 8pm. The staff at were incredibly nice, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast selection was small but good. I knocked a star because our room was dated and in need of some repairs but it did not affect our stay at all. I would stay here again.

This hotel was very convenient for work purposes but every time I flushed the toilet, it constantly ran for hours on end. The bathroom tiles were also coming up on the floors. The hotel is very outdated and I wouldn’t stay here again.

Room was so small. And it was a bit shabby, walls and carpet were soiled. . I specifically asked for a room away from the elevator. My wall was against the elevator shaft and I heard that elevator going up and down all night. The neighborhood is great if you are going to Broadway.

While the staff was friendly enough, for the price of a 1 night stay I wouldn’t book here again. You can get a cleaner room with more up to date amenities in the same walking distance as all the midtown attractions for the same price, if not cheaper. The place really just needs a facelift!!

Our stay at the City Club Hotel in Manhattan was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we checked in, the experience was seamless. We were even upgraded to a better room at no extra cost, which was such a pleasant surprise. Jameel at the front desk was incredibly nice and professional, helping us with our bags, recommending parking spots, and ensuring we had everything we needed. Yes, there was a small additional fee of about $28, but honestly, it was minuscule compared to what other big hotels in NYC charge. Given the value, location, and service, it’s a bargain! Plus, the free breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. The thoughtful touches like welcome candies made the stay feel even more special. With its unbeatable location, friendly staff, and wonderful amenities, City Club Hotel is hands down one of the best boutique hotels in the area. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Didnt even stay the night at the hotel. The staff were incredibly condescending and dismissive. There was a parade happening that they did not even warn their guests about. The hotel has the numbers to their guests checking in to the hotel at the time of the parade. They could have had the decency to send a text message in order to plan accordingly. When I mentioned this at check-in about everything I had to endure just to get there (driving almost 3 hours and having to walk many blocks with all our things just to not be able to cross the parade line) they were rude and took no accountability. Now, I don’t make scenes to get my way so I just stood my ground that I was an upset guest. They could care less. Basically told me too bad so sad and sent me on my way. Everyone in the lobby were also upset about one thing or another. Now, when it comes to the size of the room IT IS A SHOE BOX. Do not waste your money here. Look elsewhere. I spent maybe 1 hour in this hotel I couldn’t wait to leave. I wish I could get a refund considering I didnt even sleep in the room or spend much time in it.
