Three times i had to go back down to the front desk because they kept giving me room keys that didn’t work , then parking was full and i had to park down the street , they didn’t advertise the parking was 50 dollars when i got their it was 50 dollars to park , so disrespectful and the traffic from the high way above was so loud i couldn’t sleep all night , such a waist of money

I was raised in that neighborhood and throughout the years crime rate has grown high. Location is good for means of transportation. Its near main bus stops, and subway station and accesible to fast food, grocery stores and nearby precinct, minutes from hospital. Just try not to walk around late night. Everything about the Hotel is great!

No frills, traditional hotel. This hotel still offers an iron and board. It also has a fridge and microwave which are very important to me. They still offer to hold your bags for a bit after you check out. Breakfast is included between 7am and 10am. I'm mentioning these things because they are no longer standard in the hotel world. This is not a Times Square neighborhood or experience so don't come if that's what you're hoping for. The trains are about an 8 minute walk away. The employees are helpful. My only gripe was that one of my key cards didn't work, but it was ok and I didn't request it to be fixed.

Solo female traveler but felt safe. You need your card key to enter at night. There's someone in the lobby at all times. Restrooms looked newly renovated. Room and towels were clean. Stayed for 4 days and didn't have to put things in a safe. 7 minute walk to the subway station. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
