Not the same as the past, but overall a solid stay
Routinely stay here when visiting family. Have been here over last 15 years, several times. Beautoful holiday decor and baseline decor has held up well. This time was less than stellar but the breakfast generally saves the hotel from all the other misgivings. No extra roll of toilet paper or conditioner for 2 days even after calling down to font desk, despite asking for daily touch up from housekeeping at check in. Maybe the policy w eco consciousness is to only give 2 paper cups for a 3 night stay and 1 roll of TP and no conditioner for 4 people for 3 nights. Conditioner wss dekivered to roim at 9pm in 2nd night after 3nd ohone call, desoite assurance it woukd be replaced on first call. Breakfast is crowded on weekends, but always a hit with the kids and adults, despite everyine eating for 3 people. Beds were comfortable, trash trucks cleared bins at 7am...beep beep beep. So pleasant and an alarm clock and other clock with time set 1 hr ahead and not able to fix it as screw in device and plug doesnt allow you to reset it. Thank you. 567$ for 3 nights. Iverall, served it purpose. But you would not please Mr Nicotra. Maybe inquire how my stay was at checkout.

Our first room didn’t have any hot water. After calling the front desk, they found us two rooms together so we could have hot water. Some sort of credit for the inconvenience would have been the right thing to do but we weee happy to have hot water.

Lobby was fine. Rooms were beat up: paint was chipping on doors and walls, cabinets and furniture wear beat up and the finishes were chipped or broken off. walls, floors, and furniture were stained. Bathroom was filthy including old urine all over the toilet. Told the staff and they said housekeeping was gone and no one was around to clean it. Convinced them to give us another room. It took almost 30minutes. (This was at 12:00 midnight) Got another room. It was not any better but the bathroom didn’t have urine all over it. Next morning took cold showers, only minimal room temp/cold water. That night- cold shower. Next day shower was cold. I called and their response was it was a full house. No fix, no offer to help. We left the shower run until it finally became somewhat warm. Took approximately 20 minutes of letting the water run. Night 2 there was a party next door till 11:30pm Will not stay here again.

Very dirty bathroom, mold on the walls, the bathroom door handle was falling off, wallpaper was peeling off the walls, third parties replaced the lock without our knowledge and our presence in the room, repair of the fire protection system and strange messages for 4 hours, elevator very dirty, strange people in pajamas wallowing in the corridors and in the lobby, the smell of cigarettes and marijuana in the entire hotel and rooms. I was in this hotel several times before 2019 and this hotel was really very clean and I recommended it to everyone, and now it's a tragedy, it looks like homeless people live there.

Nice hotel but some won’t like the remote location, local bus service available but slow and not reliable but it’s much cheaper than staying in New York and uber to states ferry quick and inexpensive
