It was nice. FiDi is a little farther than other neighborhoods, but public transit is easily accessible. It’s a quiet neighborhood at night, and that was nice.

Overall nice hotel in nice convenient area
Liked the location, there were plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. Room was clean but did find a long hair in the bedding. The closet was extremely small and not really much use. Did like having both a refrigerator and microwave. Business center was completely out of order during stay.

while hotels within New York manhattan island are always expensive to begin with, Hilton Garden Inn NYC Financial Center offers a reasonable value for money for the location, room/bathroom size. Service level and attitude of reception staff are generally good. It would be nice to have an operating drinking water fountain that is outside the restaurant on level 2.

Easy access to the Staten Island ferry and the ferry to Ellis and Liberty Islands. Close to multiple subway stations and bus stops. Walkable to 9-11 Memorial and Brooklyn Bridge if you enjoy walking. Quiet and relatively clean area. May not be for those seeking excitement.

I’ve patronized this location for almost 5 years enjoying the convenience to the many stations, quietness of being a single bed hotel, and the simplicity of the room. Changes I’ve noticed compared to my visit in March 2024: The 2nd floor lounge: > Breakfast now ends at 10 am AND the coffee stations are removed at this time—same in the lobby. > You can now place an order through a self service kiosk then pick it up at the counter once ready.
