Great location but very noisy. We hardly slept. Our room overlooked 8th Avenue, 3rd floor, and we could hear conversations on the street (cheap windows) plus there is a fire station a block away that had three calls during the night. Bathroom is very tiny. Lighting is very dim. Expedia said breakfast was included but it was not. Staff was very nice. Parked next door using Spot Hero for good price. The hotel will also validate for parking.

This is a very clean and beautiful hotel and is centrally located. Customer services at the front desk and concierge was hit and miss though. When checking in the front desk staff was not very friendly and had some attitude at first, but came around at the end and ended up being very helpful. The first day we were there the concierge were very helpful and provided excellent customer service. they offered us an umbrella and stowed out bags as we were there well before check-in. The last day (different concierge staff from the first day) were not very friendly at all when we asked for help to depart to the airport by bus. The restaurant staff were excellent. Complimentary breakfast was good but the same everyday and loved the complimentary happy hour. They offered the best bubbly I ever tasted. Make sure you select complimentary breakfast when booking and make sure they know this when checking in as they did not have it on my booking and I was asked to prove this by showing my Expedia reservation before the front staff gave me the breakfast vouchers. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Overall stay at this property was wonderful for amenities and cleanliness. Staff were impatient and largely unhelpful in times, and gave the impression they didn’t want to be there. Restaurant was beautiful and had really good food but very overpriced for portion sizes. Location close to transport and tourist sites. Payment of room was impractical and confusing, especially for international guests using an international form of payment - included predicted pre-authorisation payment of cost of stay upon arrival, then another payment of the actual cost at the end of stay. We stayed for 6 nights with a preauthorised payment of $2,500 and a payment of $1,800 at the end, leaving us now waiting up to 30 days for the return of our payment of $2,500. We had stayed at 4-5 other hotels during our trip and had not come across this method of payment before, so we were confused. I felt we asked politely for clarification on this, and the concierge became defensive and rude straight away, so was unimpressed by this when we were just asking for help, especially at 6am when we needed to get to the airport.

Very nice property and so conveniently located! The room was a nice size and it appears that it was renovated in the recent past. Complimentary coffee is offered each morning and complimentary wine is offered at Happy Hour. No in room coffee and if you want a full breakfast, you need to go outside the hotel.

Unfortunate Stay
I’m writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay. I expected a clean, comfortable room and professional service, but my experience fell far below these standards. The staff’s attentiveness was lacking—I wasn’t greeted or assisted as I saw other guests were. A particularly troubling incident occurred when I asked the bellman where to wait for my Postmates order and was insinuated to be homeless. Such behavior is unprofessional and offensive. The room itself was disappointing, with bugs in the bathroom, stained or hairy towels, and missing amenities shown in your online photos. For the price I paid, I expected much higher standards of cleanliness and service. As a regular guest of Ritz-Carlton properties, I found this experience more reflective of a budget motel. I hope these concerns are addressed, as I’m hesitant to return based on this stay.

I liked the attentiveness from the staff and how they was very helpful and made you feel welcomed. I loved the design and the all around vibe of the hotel from the doors to the wallpaper to the fixtures.
