Great place to stay. Just don't come in from the back side. Lots of sketchy people out there after the sun sets. You're fine going through the front though. Great location too! Don't pay for a room with a "view". Your views are of other buildings across the street and tops of others.

It took several hours to receive our luggage when we were encouraged to entrust it to the bell people. After calling repeatedly each time we were told it was absolutely on the way right now, so eventually I went down to find the luggage just sitting there unattended, next to a busy street near Times Square. When I tried to take it for myself the head of the bell staff said, and I quote, "the guests are here to serve them" and therefore I couldn't take it. A similar episode happened when I went to get the "complimentary drink" (that comes out of the compulsory "resort" fee - this is of course not a resort), and the waiter told me to go pick up the drinks myself and serve myself. My friend and I were quite puzzled by this. It was of course no real issue nor effort, but something I've not encountered before. Otherwise the place is OK. The reception staff are rather curt and not particularly friendly, but fine. The room was large for a New York room and the view was nice, except that the room was advertised as a suite, and it was very much just the one room.

Good for family , the breakfast is so expensive $49 full you can go other place more economic a good price around there , the location is fabulous and the staff amazing! Very comfortable for family , they charge $35 fee every day but they give you $35 credit every night so don’t miss the credit .

This hotel was an excellent choice. The staff was very professional and accommodating from the lobby personnel all the way to the front desk. The hotel was very clean and so was the room. The view was amazing from our corner room. The only thing I didn't like was the $40 charge towards food each day whether we ate at the hotel or not. The room was costly enough so didn't like to have to pay an additional $40 per night.
