Quite, spacious, beautiful city view

I had a wonderful experience here! Excellent view of NYC and wonderfully nice staff. Fron check-in to check out! I felt welcomed and was trated so nice. I highly recommend this hotel. It is walkable to Javits about 10-15 mins depending on how fast you walk. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. I did notice so.e of the walls and doors could be wiped down but nothing too major. I notice everything. I would definitely be back here. The room was also very quite, I had no trouble with sounds from neighboring rooms.

Everything was amazing, literally the only thing was that although the room looked clean it had a perpetual fart smell that we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. The hallway had a similar smell too.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. Didn’t realize they had changed some things. As a kimpton they had a fun wine happy hour at 5. They had a nice restaurant for lunch and a bar. We had planned on having lunch before the show to save time. No restaurant! We like to have a drink at our hotel bar, no bar. Had I known they changed their policies for the worse I never would have stayed there! To add insult to injury at 3am they had a false fire alarm! Waking us up on the night of daylight savings time. Needless to say we were exhausted! So many full service hotels in Manhattan to choose from. Would never stay here again! It was $$$$ too

Cooler not working, Toilet not flushing properly.

The toilet in the room didn't flush. The hotel didn't have a coffee bar/stand as mentioned in discription. There was no microwave in the room. The cooler in the room didn't work properly. No trash bags provided in trash cabs inside the room. we didn't ask for a fix as we were only staying one night. find a better place to stay.

A comfortable and very quiet place now

Ink48 is now just a simple place to stay in a good location for Javitz. New ownership has had to close the once amazing roof deck restaurant / lounge so there's really no action to have any kind of social experience at the hotel now. It's very quiet now, rooms still nice and well appointed but if you're looking for more it's not the place anymore

Disappointment

This was my first stay in this hotel even though I am a regular for their restaurant and rooftop bar. This time I wanted to have the whole experience over Valentine's Day Weekend. Before my arrival, I called repeatedly to find out any recent changes. My calls were never answered. On my arrival, I was disappointed to find out that neither the restaurant nor the roof top was operating any longer. Had I known this, I would not have booked the hotel, but it was too late. In addition, the staff, who helped me check in was acting like a robot. She would not even look up once but just preferred to ask her questions to complete the check-in. I felt like I was at a foreign airport being questioned by an immigration officer. Even though I am an Amex Platinum cardholder, I was not offered any upgrades, or anything out of courtesy. Finally, we asked for our room to be made when we left the room only to find out that nothing was done. We had to use the towels from the day before. I had a suite, not a regular room and I would have expected better service. I am naturally very disappointed and would not stay in this hotel again.
