Very cold temperature on the corridors. Corridors are designed very darkly, not pleasantly. Our room didn´t have curtains, it looks not cozy. Very simple equipment for coffee and tea - no glass or ceramics mugs, no metal spoons. Just paper cups and wooden sticks.

Place was great! Very quiet around the time I went staff was friendly valet was definitely helpful. Went into Times Square from this hotel and it worked.

The property is in a very quiet part of town, and no restaurants close by. Full of government officials and not really appealing for an out of towner looking to relax and enjoy the city. Also very expensive at $1000 per night for a very basic room that had a damaged ceiling where the air vent was placed and both wardrobe doors didn’t shut which meant the interior lights were on all night. Large gaps around the bedroom door and you could hear every conversation in the hall and the adjoining bedroom. There was also a large bundle of party rubbish outside in the hallway for two days.

Bell service / luggage crew were excellent. Front desk didn’t make guests feel welcomed. They were sort with responses and didn’t explain they have two buildings and inform me which building my room was in. Multiple elevators were out of operation and the only working elevator was barely functional. Lock on hotel door didn’t work. Shower head didn’t work.

The room was decnent and modern for the most part. Beautiful views, You can tell the bathrooms have been upgraded and updated. Very nice! They probably need new carpet in their rooms or at least the room we stayed in. Firestick did not work on the TV may have been a Wi-Fi issue. They told us we had a $35 a day credit to use for the bar and grill but they failed to tell us is that they’re going to charge us $35 a day whether we use it or not. So there was an issue with getting my deposit back to the hotel manager and he did the best he could met us in the middle. I suppose something is better than nothing. More than likely will not be staying at this hotel again, my wife and I have stayed in numerous hotels in New York and I would say the iberostar 70 Park Ave is the best one we’ve stayed in. We will be going back there on our next trips to New York

Spent a weekend in NY and the hotel was terrific. All staff is extremely friendly and helpful and any questions were answered with courtesy. Loved the Turtle Bay area, as it is walkable with a neighborhood feel.
