We had and early checked in. We had to wait to get the room . The assigned room was not done. Went down to complaint. They assigned us another room Which did not have a curtain shower and the paper toilet holder was broken. I informed the maid, she said she was going to report it to the front desk. Nobody came to replace it . We stayed for three nights, but the room was clean only once. It's a big hotel and there only two elevators. You have to wait a long, long time to be able to go up and down. People, This hotel is a bad choice.

Not the worst but certainly not the best.

The hotel looks okay downstairs but the rooms need some care. The doors were coming apart. The sink and shower needed a refresh. One of the shower head was disgusting and had mold. The bed was comfortable and the room had plenty of lighting. I would also say that the heat wouldn’t go above 70 and I didn’t like that. I like to sleep in a warm room in winter and spring. They had to bring me a heater. I have never been to a room where you don’t control your own temperature.

Great hotel! Great location! The mayor complain about this hotel is the HIDDEN FEES! I found a hidden fee of $200 after my stay, hotel processing fee or somethi g like that! Unacceptable, all hotel have the same policies, they charge you a fee but end of stay they return, I have no issues with this! But to charge me $200 or so just to leave if horrible..

This place is certainly not a 4* or 5* it is in complete chaos all the time from the bellmen to the front desk. Visually the front desk and bar area is beautiful but the rooms are tired and dirty. The area is not nice, it's close to times square but it is on a busy street and difficult to get around in an uber. The only person that works hard and actually cares is Peter at the luggage drop off room. He is amazing, totally understaffed but he is happy and gets the job done. The line up for luggage drop off is literally out of the door. The line up for check in is out of the door. The lines up for elevators are crazy!! We were there off peak on a Wednesday and it was utter chaos. The staff are miserable with no sense of urgency. I will not reccomend or stay at this hotel ever again. Avoid this hotel like the plague. Leadership cleared provides no guidance or help to its employees during chaotic times.

Nice hotel…. I question the extra charges

The hotel was nice, very pretty, and located im a nice area. There was a lot surrounding us, and near by. As for the hotel itself, the lobby had an odd smell in and around it. And when we got to our room the heat was on 85 and we could not get it to cool down either night, even when we opened the windows. My major issue is that I have no idea what the $45/ day charge was for, but that was taken out of the ridiculous $200 deposit you had to give when you checked in. I paid for the hotel when I booked the room, and I was NOT informed of the extra charges I would incur once I arrived. That’s pretty &?/(ty if you ask me. People vacationing on a budget and $200 is tied up, and then you only get about $100 back. I feel a little scammed.

We booked this hotel for our work group many times as it is convenient location. My colleague found brown water with dirt and residuals from the tap water while she was showering this time. She took photos and informed the front desk during check out and seemed the staff did not care much and just said may be from maintenance work. We were disappointed.
