I loved the hotel. It feels like you stepped into the past. From the motif to the lighting to the live jazz at night. This place exudes coolness. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and witty. If you are looking for luxury and tranquility, look elsewhere. But if you want a retro throwback and don't mind using the built in white noise speakers in the room to drown out the music, stay here. I will be back.

Lovely spot in Tribeca - helpful staff (particularly in the restaurant/bar) and comfortable rooms. Minor issue with TV was handled promptly- other minor quibbles with old style shower curtain and difficulty finding outlets but these were minor. Loved the music and cinema (and restaurant/bar)) downstairs. Tribeca is not my favorite neighborhood in NYC but very convenient to downtown neighborhoods, Brooklyn, and EWR.

I found the staff at check in unfriendly. They did not share any information about the hotel and its amenities and did not inform us about basics such as check out times. Also, the rooms are not noise insulated and I couldn’t sleep Friday night. The white noise cancellation is v loud (louder than any AC at max capacity you can imagine)

Pleasant Stay
My spouse and I had a cozy night at the Roxy Hotel. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was well-appointed. Only shortcoming was the bathroom, desperately needs an update! Will likely stay again though. Great location and nice stay overall.
