Good price for New York City. Conveniently located to subway, deli and food shops. Room lacks basic amenities such as fridge, microwave, decent coffee maker. Bed is comfortable.

Excellent if you need a place to crash. Rooms are small but that’s NYC for you. Excellent value and you can sprint to the Union St metro. Just for that I’ll be back anytime I can. Cute, simple rooms. Just what I needed

Poor design. Kept hitting my head against the shelf installed above the sink. No dimmers on lights. No useful amenities like bigger mini fridge or microwave in room. Should have to stayed at the Marriott across the street for $100 more. I would have had better amenities.

Everything was great, loved the location, right near a subway. A loose awning banged against the building two nights in a row. First night directly under our window. It was rough sleeping. Would recommend, will be back

I didn’t like the checkin and what happened when i was entering my room and saw someone clothes in the room that was assigned to me. Even this happened I was the one that have to call to manage it because only the security was there to help.

Tiny room with weird design choices

Well, we didn’t realize that we booked a micro pod of a room. It was the last available room. We arrived to find a modern shoebox of a space. Some odd design choices made what would have otherwise been a functional space. The wall shelving over the sink made it impossible to wash your face and the water kept shooting out onto the room if you weren’t really careful. The shower was ridiculous. It was a very narrow rectangle and had a massive column in the middle of it. To go from the shower side to the side with conditioner, etc, you had to turn sideways. The rain shower head was hot and powerful but given the tiny space it got the bathroom soaking wet and you felt like you might drown. The lobby and other common areas were pretty shabby looking and the elevator smelled like roach spray.

Sonder the industrialist was an incredibly good property for the price and I would easily recommend it to everybody. The staff were phenomenal, especially Christian, me and my girlfriend chatted too many times. The only complaints I have for the property is simply the beds and pillows, which I feel should have had other options. As it was quite uncomfortable for me and my girlfriend. But either way I would not say that as a deterrent for staying here. I will definitely be coming here again, if given the opportunity.

I was incredibly disappointed with my stay at Sonder. We stayed in the single double room. It was so small that my friend and I had to take turns getting ready because two people couldn’t walk at the same time, the floors were filthy, the shower door didn’t latch so the bathroom was always soaked, there was no decor in the room to make it more inviting, the fridge was literally a skincare fridge and wasn’t big enough to fit any food, and I couldn’t even get an extra pillow to make my stay more comfortable because they “forgot to order more” The whole stay was just disappointing and really affected my enjoyment of my vacation.

I didn't have hot water for a day and the front desk laughed at me when I went down to ask what was going on. I had to go to work without a shower. Horrific. I was told I would get $50 compensation but still haven't received it. I wouldn't recommend staying here at all. Disgraceful
