This hotel was filthy; entrance, elevator (terrifyingly dirty), hallway, room carpet, personal hair from previous occupant an all bathroom fixtures. Desk draws kept sliding open in pathway from bed to bathroom. The only thing I will commend were the clean sheets. Carpet was so repulsive I used the bath towel at the bedside.

The staff were helpful and the rooftop bar was a nice space. Extremely convenient location that was easy to get anywhere in Manhattan and lots of restaurants in the area.

Hotel on Fifth ave is in an extraordinary area. A few minute walk from popular areas. The restaurants around the area had great reviews. Chicken and beer excellent, Bear donuts delicious. The diner for breakfast, good food and service. Took the metro and saved big time. The city that never sleeps, never disappoints. M55 bus takes you to Brooklyn bridge and other popular spots. Enjoy if you plan a trip. Stay here. Worth it!
