Hotel Review Our stay at [Hotel Name] was a mixed experience, starting off rocky but improving over time. We arrived with a confirmed, prepaid reservation, only to be told that our room wasn’t ready. Despite arriving at the designated check-in time, we were left waiting in the lobby for an hour while they flipped a room for us. To make matters worse, it became clear that some of the clientele were paying by the hour, which was not at all what we expected. Frustrated, we had to involve Expedia to get our reservation properly sorted. Once that was handled, however, the staff made a concerted effort to turn things around. Over the course of our three-day stay, the proprietors were accommodating and very responsive, going out of their way to make up for the rough start. The hotel’s biggest advantage is its location—it’s extremely convenient and well-connected to public transit. A great variety of shops, dining options, and essential services are within a short walking distance, making it a practical choice for travelers who want easy access to everything. By the end of our stay, we felt that the efforts to rectify the initial mishap were genuine, and we decided to give the property one more chance before making a final decision about returning in the future. If they can smooth out the check-in process and maintain the level of service we experienced after the first day, it could be a solid option.

If your looking for a non high maintenance hotel stay for a decent price this a fair hotel to stay at. there were lots of inconveniences like only luke warm water, and weird concrete floors with no carpets, uneven table, no stove, but besides that everything else was fine. if your just looking for a fair place to stay at around this area this would be worth considering.

Great value close to WTC

Really great stay. Very impressed with the cost and value compared to the location. Being two blocks away from World Trade Center is pretty great. Good Security, eating, and access to transportation. Hotel did need a little cleaning touch up when we got there. Shower leaked some. Definitely a no frills spot. But location was very typical of New York. Biggest complaint was the amount of mary-J being smoked. Yuck. But overall good stay. Would definitely go again.

There were some issues with stains on walls that were left by previous occupants. Plus the furniture has some wear and tear to it. The fridge in our room let out a horribly loud sound when plugged in which made it a bit unbearable to use. Overall it was a good experience and with convenience of location and price, these things didn’t hinder the trip.

My room had no carpeting apart from a rug around the bed .I was walking on bare concrete.The shower never got hotter than luke warm .The draft from the french window was horrendous,keeping the room on the cool side.The walls are very thin you can hear activity from other rooms and the smell of weed was coming in from the next room.There was no hair drier or clothes hangers in the closet.I spent hours looking at rooms all over New York ,sure wish I'd not picked this one.
