The staff was unwelcoming and unfriendly during check-in. Not only did they not put tea, coffee, etc in my room and I had to go downstairs to get it late in the evening, per the desk clerk, but he also said they ran out of tea bags. Wow. Not only did they not clean my room daily (fine, save water money, etc but they did not place soap and toilet paper in the room at all, so I had to call to ask for it. The heating and cooling system in the room was not working and a portable rolling heater was in the room, sooooooo noisy, that it broke in the middle of the night around midnight, and I was freezing, it being one of the coldest days in NYC that week so I called down to the desk to replace it, and it took them until 1 am to bring a new one. WOW

Good place to stay close to NYC

Good hotel, have stayed here several times. Close to subway which is only a few stops into the city. Comfortable beds, good water pressure in shower, and generally clean.

This is not a safe property. Someone came into our room at 4 am and only left because they heard a man’s voice. Women do not stay here. Also the staff did nothing to help so this seemed like a regular occurrence. The food is great and the bed is amazing Everything else feels cheap and old. This is NOT worth the money and not safe!
