This hotel is always a good, affordable option for a stay in Newark. The area around the hotel is clean and convenient to several stores and eateries. I also had a great view of the NYC skyline since my room was in the back of the building. The staff quickly rectified an issue with room keys not working. I would definitely stay there again.

This property is disgustingly and poorly managed staff at front desk were not very knowledgeable in regards to what the day to day operations are no room service was allowed had to change my room at least once no management on duty to express my concerns I was freezing in that facility with no heat

I was a solo-female traveler during my stay, and I have never felt any safer. All the security measures in place definitely made me relax a lot more as new environments always make me anxious. Beautiful hotel, with nice staff. The double room was a bit small, but again, I travelled alone so it didn’t matter to me. If there’s 4 travelers though, it might feel like you guys are on top of each other. Even though the hotel’s downtown, in the middle of a busy city, I could not hear the outside noise unless the window was opened. I did hear a couple neighbors’ showers and doors being opened, but that didn’t bother me. Parking is tricky. There’s a lot of surface pay-to-park parking lots around. Street parking is very limited and it’s metered parking. I parked down the street, so didn’t inquire about parking from the lobby. But that’s something you’d have to keep in mind. All in all, I loved my mini staycation. And will stay again and again and again.

The room was decently clean, we had a great view. It's very close to Prudential Center where our concert was. Staff was friendly. Only problem was our TV was broken, and we didn't have a hairdryer in the room, which I thought most hotels have. No big deal tho.

Huge lack of communication between workers and clients. Not clear at all with directions. They just assume everyone goes there I guess. Wasn’t aware of Valet that they have but don’t have ; when I went to park my car there was no parking and the guy just said leave your keys, gave me zero context on what next steps were to retrieve them: I followed up with the front desk and they were unaware of the process; from my understanding they don’t exactly have valet but still do it. Which is fine but have a set process. Not to mention I had some lady call me everyday I was there to yell at me about having her room and that I owe $200 a night (it’s a scam btw) How is anyone getting my room telephone number in the first place..? Overall experience was fairly low quality. But a great location. And the room was comfortable! Room was decently cleaned to other than minor spots.

I enjoyed my stay here at the hotel. However, it was a last minute decision. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I had to call housekeeping to request a blanket for my bed because my room was so cold.

The security guard on Sunday evening was extremely helpful and acted as a concierge and helped me with the train details to go to NY. Very friendly and helpful....but, I forgot his name.
