There was a fly in the room when we arrived. They said no unauthorized pets but someone had a small dog that barked inside and outside the hotel late at night an early in the morning.

Quite outdated in furnishings. The pool deck had black mold in places. One entrance door wouldn’t close. Ice machine broken. Pillows were awful. Staff was nice. Not worth the amount we paid

Stayed one night. Comfortable bed, quiet, nice easy breakfast (pancakes, bagels, fruit, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs) in the morning. There is not much around the hotel. It’s about 25 minutes from Tahquamenon falls. My only complaint was that the ice machines did not work.

Good stay! The room was average, exactly what you pay for. The breakfast was fair/okay. There was sufficient amount of food for my family. Did not use the pool. Check in and check out was routine.

Property was a good hotel, fairly/relatively convenient for visiting the falls, traveling from Pict. Rocks and Grand Marais. Clean. nice clean pool and hot tub. Hot tub had few good working jets though. Recommended stay if you are in this area. Heard lots of wolves howling, so careful if you intend to camp. :)
