I was very disappointed to see that my room didn’t have a bathroom. This was not advertised on the page and the place smelled like cigarettes and fry food. People from the other rooms were very noisy, banging on the doors and screaming.

The room was not as advertised. I paid for what I believed had private facilities, as described in the room description. The confirming email shows a room absolutely nothing like I booked. To have such a room would cost me another $30-$50 per night. No hot water in the room. Room/mattress/pillows smelt of stale smoke. Stained bed cover. Good points: the shared facilities were very clean.

Have stayed in many pub style rooms but this one was the worst. The pub itself was good, bistro food was great but the accommodation lets it all down. Smelly room, no tv, poor lighting, bed older than my grandmothers and stained throw cushions, yuk. Although the price was super cheap and they say you get what you pay for, BUT is this really a reason to skimp on the small touches that could leave a guest wanting to return? Maybe! NOT me. I used the room to get dressed in then left the keys in the return box on my way out, was not going sleep in that stinky cold room.

Room was nothing like the picture. Clean and tidy nothing special. Not much room around the bed, (a king size bed in that room probably not a good idea) which made it difficult for my partner who has problems with his hips and legs. Thought there would of been atleast a small TV to watch while relaxing after a long trip but nope😩 Shared bathrooms where nothing flash but where clean and tidy too

Staff that greeted me gave great customer service both before I arrived and on arrival. Unfortunately when I booked I didn't realise the bathroom was shared. It didn't say this when I booked and I've since been in to double check. The image showing looks like an ensuite bathroom. If i had known this I wouldn't have booked. Other than that it did the job for the night. I arrived late and left early in the morning so was only wanting a bed for the night. Would have been good to have a kettle tea/coffee in the room but I suppose that's what you get for the price.

First of all there were no TV no Fridge no kitchen no facilities to put anything that you had to bring with you no soap in the bathrooms to wash your hands Also no tea and coffee in the rooms at all there should’ve been an upstairs kitchen where you could go and have tea and coffee but nothing we will never stay there again the bed wasn’t very comfortable either very noisy place so you’ve just lost two people

Staff were excellent and helpful. Food was absolutely delicious! However, I didn’t notice in advertisement that there is NO AIR-CON, NO FRIDGE, and the windows only opened a short height but didn’t stay up, we had to put something there to hold it open. The shower head wouldn’t stay up, and tap on bath was bent. There was also no soap holder in shower cubicle, and a bath mat wasn’t provided. We had access to Wifi, which was wonderful, but no TV. However, we were comfortable and had a decent bed to sleep in.

It was advertised as having parking. There was no air conditioning, fridge and the windows didn’t open and the fan had a massive layer of dust so you couldn’t use it. The shower was not clean. However the staff were wonderful and friendly.
