It was great value for the price. The hotel has clearly been recently refurbished. The room was spacious, modern and comfortable. The bed was very firm but that suited me. Air con/heating options. Good sized TV. Modern bathroom with a good shower and very hot water (but an unnecessarily odd and impractical tap in the basin!) I'd be happy to stay here again for the price I paid.

Best hotel I stayed in Newcastle bar none! Definitely will come back here when I return. Staff were amazing, the room service was grand and the room itself was perfect. Will recommend to anyone that will be travelling to this location to book here. Top marks all round!

Weekend break away.

We had a lovely stay. We were staying in Newcastle for a wedding. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were fab. The only thing that was not so good was at 5am there were kids running up and down the corridor and doors slamming. This is obviouy not the hotels fault. More about people being respectful of the fact that others have also paid to to stay in the hotel and should be able to sleep peacefully.

Love this hotel

I rested really well and we desperately needed after 15 hours travelling by plane and waiting times, jet lag etc. So it was comfy and clean, I loved the toiletries by rituals which is one of my fav brands, and they left a small gift box of rituals products which I was very happy about it. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was very nice and had good variety. We felt refreshed with a bath, I only was missing a hairdryer but we will definitely go back to Novotel near Newcastle Airport

Disappointing Stay, Checked-Out Early

I stayed in room 234, and right from the start, there were several issues that impacted my stay. First, the bathroom light wasn’t working, which was inconvenient, and the shower gel dispenser was empty, leaving me without basic amenities. To make matters worse, I was disappointed to learn that the swimming pool had been closed for several months, which I wasn’t informed about prior to booking. I also ordered a pizza from the bar, which arrived hard, clearly having been defrosted and reheated. It was not at all what I had hoped for, especially considering the price. Overall, the combination of these issues led to a rather frustrating stay, and I decided to check out earlier than planned. I had hoped for a more comfortable and enjoyable experience. I hope the hotel can address these concerns to improve future guest stays.
