Hi Peter You actually booked our self catering property which is a 2 bedroom property, not a family room in the hotel. may be this is the reason for your comments. the beds were replaced in 2020 and the house was fully renovated i at the beginning of 2021.

family trip

found staff helpful and friendly,bedroom clean and comfy, bus stop beside hotel for trips to Belfast etc.

A good experience

Overall everything was good. Room was clean and comfortable even though it didn't have a window. Breakfast was good and staff very helpful. I would go back.

What's in a name!!

Spent some time driving up and down Church Street looking for hotel! Eventually asked someone who told us that the name of the Strangford Arms bar had been changed to Le Winter's and the hotel was behind it. Would have been nice if this had been mentioned when we booked.
