The hotel is in a fantastic location and very easy to get to. The check in was a bit slow due to some issues with the systems but that’s out of the staff’s control. The staff are all excellent. Very friendly and very helpful. Our room was incredible. We had a view of the falls and jacuzzi bath tub. The $200 per night security deposit is very excessive. I wonder what guests from hell prompted that policy. Thankfully we were only staying one night as that basically double the price of the stay and the small print says it might take 20 days to come back. The parking is also quite expensive. $35 a day for off site parking.

Location: this place is located very close to the waterfalls therefore the view from the rooms are great. View from my room was amazing and this was the only plus during our stay this time. We have been in this hotel for at least 4/5 times in last few years as it was our go to places always. Room amenities: overall the room was clean and tidy however the coffee machine was not properly functioning. I had to press and hold the power button the whole time to get my coffee brewed. This was a disappointment. To make things worse, the telephone started to make a loud noise at the middle of night that sounded like an alarm, which woke my both kids up at 2am. Service: service starting from the front desk to breakfast lounge was not satisfactory and being a guest in this place multiple times since 2019 to 2024, this time was the worst. Food: the complementary breakfast was a joke. Other than eggs, everything was not fresh, it seemed like breads from day before were re-heated and served. Almost all of the bread pieces were brunt. There were few servers who were making guests to clean up tables, not sure why there were servers present if guests are to clean the plates and put them in the designated area. Breakfast items and quality is way below average. We couldn’t eat almost anything. It seems like the service has gone straight downhill. I’m really disappointed with the service and did not worth the money we spent. It seemed like this place doesn’t care about service anymore.

Guest services gave me a hard time when asking for extra glasses. We had 2 glasses in the room, 3 guests. I asked for an additional 4 so we could have two glasses each for the evening. I was GRILLED by guest services on the phone. They asked if I didn’t have glasses, then why I needed so many, how many people were in the room. I was told she could only send 3. Shocking service and accusatory tone after paying $400 for a room. Did they think I was having a party or hosting guests unbeknownst to them beyond capacity or who was registered? We were three 40-something-year-olds having a quiet night away from our respective kids. I thought about not mentioning anything, but the more I thought about it the more I feel management should be made aware of the lack of customer service ethos from this individual in guest services. The rest of our stay was otherwise sufficient and uneventful. Elevators are usually a long wait in the mornings and it’s always best to try for an early breakfast to avoid the crowds. Staff directing flow of guests were kind and attentive. As a local, this was probably my 9th or 10th stay at this property. I’ll think more carefully next time before booking a stay and spending hard-earned cash at Embassy suites.

Staff outshined any hotel experience with true customer service at every corner making it welcoming, helpful and very pleasant. Actura was the elevator gentleman who was extremely helpful and welcoming and I would go back to stay just for his top notch customer service skills. Well run hotel.

Our stay was fine for the most part. The free breakfast was lacking and disorganized. We did use the pool area which was very nice. You're paying for the view and location here.
