It is a quaint hotel with an excellent layout for a romantic stay. The spa and restaurant in the lower level is a really nice touch. Also being walking distance from all that the Falls has to offer isn't added bonus.

Fabulous Hotel - Not Anymore
We stayed in Sterling many times for the past 5 years. It’s sad to see the changes. Sterling increasingly becomes run down property. check in was disappointing as the receptionist was chatting personal stuff on the phone and ignored us for quite some time. The room (203) was poorly maintained with walls stained and scratched, bathroom tile dirty and molded grout in the shower. Didn’t take picture of night tables, but they deserve to be in the landfills - surface is horribly scratched.Hotel still has nice perks such as bath robe and slippers and continental breakfast in the room. Pillows were extremely uncomfortable and so was the mattress. Even though our stay wasn’t horribly expensive - just $200, it wasn’t worth the money. Hotel doesn’t have any views at all, and view of Niagara is what most of people are looking for. The most important reason for us to return was steam room, cleanliness and comfortable beds. Unfortunately that time is gone. Pictures are attached.

The staff was very friendly, especially Debby. She is an asset to this hotel. The breakfast they deliver to your room was very good. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Niagara Falls.

Beautifully maintained property with friendly, helpful staff. No view of the falls but it was also quiet because it was a block away from the heaviest tourist traffic area. Close enough to be within walking distance of most attractions.

Third visit here (first and second visits in June and July 2024). This used to be my favourite hotel. To be honest, we've been to Niagara falls four times this year and have already done all of the touristy things. This time, I really only wanted to come back to Niagara Falls to stay at this hotel because I loved it so much. However, our interaction with the lady at the front desk on October 20th afternoon was quite discouraging and distressing. She was very rude to us. Shamed us for booking the room through a third party, rather than directly through the hotel. Rather than taking the time to explain company policies for checking in, she refused to check us in and told us to come back later. We presented our credit card clearly and visibly to her, as well as ID. All she had to do was explain what was required from us as per company policy in a kind and polite manner. We felt that she shooed us away from the desk. There were other people in line in front of us and behind us. Their rooms were not ready yet, but she still checked ALL of them in. Positives : David was extremely polite and kind to us. During our past visits the customer service has always been exceptional. The room is beautiful and breakfast in bed delicious! The location of the hotel is convenient as it’s close to everything. Clifton hill is a short walk away.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great location , walking distance to the falls and restaurants. We got upgraded to a bigger room with jacuzzi. We loved our room. It was very cozy and also has a fire place. They offer breakfast in the room which I really like it!

Awesome Stay in Niagara , ON
One of the most comfortable stays in all our trips to the Niagara region. Rooms were spacious and the hotel was spread out and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay here every time we get opportunity to visit the Niagara region.
