This was a great stay. The original room we were assigned smelled like smoke and they gave us a new room without any fuss. Things I liked... Hotel is modern and resembles some of the big resort chains in North America. The hotel has a nice looking lounge in the main lobby area as well as a nice bar and restaurant. Even though you’re across from the airport, we didnt really hear any noise while in the room. Things that could improve... The washroom was wonderful. The only thing was that water would seep out on the floor when you took shower and you need a lot of towels to clean it up. The other weird thing was that they offer an airport shuttle when they are within walking distance of the airport so I found many staff would discourage us from taking it so that service didnt really have any value to us even though it was a selling point for them. There was some confusion about whether I paid the full city tax since the staff checking us in made a mistake which meant I had to do 2 separate transactions. Apparently there was no record of this in their system so they were asking me to pay again so I showed the receipt. The lesson here is to keep your receipts handy.

We were most impressed with this attractive, well run hotel which is conveniently located for the airport and transport hubs, serves good food in a welcoming environment. The staff are particularly helpful and committed.

Overall great, but the WiFi was barely usable and kept cutting out. We were there for 5 nights and it never got fixed. Breakfast was excellent and cleaning staff did a great job. Great seaside views!

My airport pick up and check in was not as smooth as expected. I phoned the hotel requesting pick up but could not find my email and the girl that was in the van was not polite at all, even if I kept apologizing almost humiliated me in front of other guests before allowing me to get on the van even if I explained that I was staying for 4 nights. The girl driving was a bit better. Then she got out the van walked in front of me and went behind the the desk looking at me. Not even saying welcome... nothing! Then I said, oh are you going to check me in? so she was the same who did the check in and never bothered to give me any details about the hotel. I had to ask the typical questions to ensure I was properly checked in. The check out was a bit better, done by someone else, but they didn't bother mentioning how was my stay & that there was a van that could drop me off at the airport. I knew but they should have taking the initiative as saw me with suitcases. I got an email later (after check out) from Expedia advising such service. Overall, the hotel is ok / clean but NOT the members of the staff at the front desk. I felt like they were doing me a favour. I must say that their Customer Service needs improving. They should make the visitors feel welcome but specially the girl that checked me in was just tired and needs to go do something else not work at the front desk if she doesn't like people and doesn't smile at all...
