The hotel is beautiful and very clean. We did the upgrade for a bigger room with a full balcony. Palapa and the pool chair services are terrible. I was suggested to book a palapa for the entire stay so I wouldn’t have any problems which I did. But every morning the girl told me that the palapa I booked was taken due to a double booking issue. Looks like they were selling free palapas to others since it was the first line by the beach. I had to argue with her every morning. This is not a good start and not acceptable for the money Hyatt is charging. The pool chair services: when I checked in, I specifically asked if a reservation was needed by the pool and they told me no, but when we decided to stay by the pool instead of the beach, the guy came up to me and said that the chairs were taking (even though no one showed that day for those chairs, they were just covered by the towels with no people) and that they charge $60 for those chairs. Also, every night we heard a noise from the club near the hotel. It was terrible. My kids couldn’t sleep till 2 am until the music was over. The front desk people said that they couldn't do anything about it.

Loved our stay here. Right on the beach and very walkable to restaurants and shops. The only thing we didn’t like was the spa did not have a relaxation area. There are two chairs outside the treatment rooms which doubles as the waiting area, so instead of relaxing after our services we felt rushed to leave. We will go offsite for the spa next time.

The accommodations were nicely appointed with a comfortable bed, low AC sound and nice motion night lights under the bed and int he bathroom if getting up at night. Room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels, bottles of water and even the ice bucket refilled. Loved the beautiful pool area and associated onsite bars and restaurants and newly added Casino. Newly added adult pool was also heaven and beautiful. Will definitely be staying there again.

The grounds are stunning. They are tropical. Beach with nice lounge chairs is great. Pool lounges and pool are lovely. Staff helps you get a lounge. If they were an all inclusive it would be better but there are places nearby to eat. Hallway was too cold, not enough light in the room and window to resort was dirty but it didn’t affect our stay. I thought we had a balcony which we didn’t and I saw they were small. It’s a lovely resort.

Everything was terrific with Aruba and the property. What I did not like was the Expedia experience. I had trouble wiith the booking and expedia customer service was teuly frustrating.
