Beautiful View, Would Benefit from Upgrades
The view from the main bedroom upstairs is phenomenal. We saw dolphins jumping in the waves from the bed. It really is stunning. The location is also very convenient. We could walk right to the beach and we also walked to a nearby playground for the Saturday Farmer's Market. We talked to one of the neighbors while we were out walking and they were very friendly. The people we met at the Farmer's Market were very friendly. It is a great area to bring kids. The floors, carpet, and bathrooms were clean and there were ample towels, extra pillows and blankets for us. There were plenty of bathrooms and very large bedrooms. My only suggestion is that the owners spend some more time on staging and updates. We received a message before check in about making sure the kids don't touch the blinds, but the living room blinds were clearly broken and in need of replacement. The kitchen cabinets were not very organized and drawers had random empty packages. There was a small amount of instant coffee offered, so we brought our own. Norfolk does have a lot of amazing coffee shops, so it wasn't hard to find coffee. Overall, it is worth it to stay here. The location and views are phenomenal and we felt comfortable inside. We had a chance to meet one of the owners and they did say they are planning renovations down the line. They were very nice and I think they are doing a good job providing a clean property in a beautiful location.

Inconvenient & dirty
The property is nice. Spacious. The location is awesome. Overall this was an annoying and inconvenient stay. The house was filthy and I absolutely saw a roach in the master bedroom. The property manager was in and out throughout our stay along with an exterminator NOT for the roaches. I was traveling from 12hrs away with 3 children 8 and under. I'm am disappointed and annoyed. We will not be starting at a VRBO property again

Wonderful view
Condo was in a good location for everything we wanted to do. More stairs inside than I expected. Our bed was comfortable. The ceiling fans could use a little TLC. But our family would stay there again. We enjoyed our stay. The last day there we saw dolphins at the beach.

AWESOME LOCATION
Perfect location on the beach, the bay portion, so almost like your own private beach, so you don’t have to worry about crowds. About 3 minute walk from condo to beach. VA Beach is less than a 30 drive depending on time of day & traffic, so not to bad. Bush Gardens & Williamsburg less than an hour, away, so overall a great location. Beach view from bedroom is awesome (3rd floor); view from balcony on 2nd floor not so great as the sand bar is pretty high. Con’s: washer was broken, that sucks with all the sand, but didn’t ruin our vacation

Roaches and inaccurate descriptions
Listing says you will be contacted 3 days before trip with check in instructions to had to ask the morning of We arrived at 7pm and the information given for the door code was wrong we could get get in I had to call the number listed and figured out the code was changed we where then told that the floor in the kitchen was messed up they knew and did not have it fixed yet to not interrupt our stay but the planks are lifting and moving and not safe we got in and since we had a 8 hr drive left to go eat dinner came back and it was late 10pm so went right to bed the pillows where all so flat and lumpy the bed springs that where terrible myself and my husband woke Saturday morning at 630am we left a bag of plastic cups out with tea packets in the kitchen island and cockroaches when skuring my husband killed one and that made us look around there where sticky straps on the kitchen floor where my daughter could reach and pick up and in the cabinets we where not told these where there so they could be moved out of reach to the child. My father in law went looking for towels because there were none anywhere found them in the dryer and also found sticky traps with a bunch of huge roaches and lizards and the ac was leaking down the wall pooling on the floor the opposite side of the wall is the downstairs bedroom. The downstairs bedroom also we found a small roach I contacted on the app and was never messages back but the property manager did talk with me and said I would get call back

Could be a lot better...
Property was not ready at check in time. We waited over an hour for the cleaning company to finish. Dryer was inoperable, and unfortunately the towels left in the dryer did not dry so our family of 8 had minimal towels during our stay. Owner and property manager were responsive but the issue could not be resolved during our stay. Garage door opener was not available. Kitchen had extensive water damage to the floor which was an extreme tripping hazard, really should have been repaired or better covered before allowing renters in. Kitchen is minimally supplied. Could use more cuttlery, knives, and dishes and to be organized. It is a beautiful condo, the area is quiet and family friendly, the place just needs tlc and some effort into making it more renter friendly. OWNER AND dlhas

Spacious property by the beach
We really enjoyed that there was lots of room to spread out in the property with three bedrooms and three floors. The dryer wasn't working when we first got there but the property manager responded promptly and had it fixed. Beach access was very convenient as noted in the listing and we enjoyed walking on the beach each night. My only disappointment was that there is a huge dune between the property and the beach. I was hoping to sit on the deck and listen to the ocean and that wasn't possible. The location of the dune meant that the noise from the AC units echoed back and drowned out any possible sound from the beach. We had an excellent view of the ocean from the primary bedroom, but the neighbor's trees and the dune obscured the view from most of the deck on the main floor.

We had a great vacation! Very easy to find, good location! Its not a corner unit but it is beach front. Plenty of sleeping arrangements and bathrooms! Not enough "comfy" seating in the living room, at least it was a long couch! There was some cookware not very many dishes to eat off of or store leftovers. Small coffe pot. No real beach view from the main living area only the master bedroom... it needs some updating and a little tlc! The owner/rental company was very nice to work with! All in all it worked out and we had a great time!

Great location. Host was quick with responses and is very friendly. There were some issues with home maintenance that was brought to the host’s attention. We could not use the kitchen due to one of the issues. The master bedroom is great! Perfect view and bed is very comfortable. The rest of the beds-not so much. Again, some updates and general maintenance would have made this stay better. It’s steps from the beach and we enjoyed our time outside. It’s also very close to grocery stores, etc., and a quick drive to Virginia Beach area.

Great view and location.
Even though the weather was cold, we still managed to take a walk on the beach. Enjoy being able to step out and be a few steps from the beach. Great restaurants are a long walk or short drive away.

Family Christmas vacation
Our stay was great! Plenty of room for our family to meet for a Christmas vacation. The condo backs up to the beach and has beautiful views from the primary bedroom and living room. It is just a short walk to the end of building to get to the beach access, don’t forget your beach chairs if you want to hang out at the beach all day. we had plenty of room to spread out with a bedroom on the 1st floor with its own toilet and shower and a spiral staircase to the living room. 2nd floor has a half bath, kitchen, with a large island to make meal prep easy, dining table and living room area with desk and lots of books for kids and adults to enjoy plus a balcony to enjoy sitting and listening to the waves crash or watching the birds and squirrels. 3rd floor has the primary bedroom with a wall of windows to look out plus the bathroom has a big jacuzzi tub and standalone shower. 3rd bedroom also on 3rd floor has bunk beds and bathroom with toilet and shower. We had a great time, the condo was 30 mins or less from everywhere we wanted to go. The owner was easy to contact during the whole process, including extending our stay before we came when we realized we wanted to stay longer.

Beautiful location, spacious home. Could use some more attention. Appears to be a newer VRBO owner. Would recommend visiting another VRBO to see some of their ammenities. Some basic necessities were not provided in home that would be expected (pillows and blankets for fold out couch, a toaster would be a nice item to have).

Great family getaway!
Close location to beach! Every room has its own bathroom which is great for getting ready. Pet friendly so we could bring our small dog. Beautiful views out of the master bedroom and we even saw a battleship! Host answered all questions in a fast manner and rental agency was prompt to contact you as soon as you checked in to let you know they were available. Could use some more seating in LR for families. Would definitely return.

Great Getaway
The stay at this property was wonderful. My family and I was surprised at how spacious the property was. Everyone had their own space. The view of the beach from the property was amazing. The owner was very responsive to all inquiries and request. This property will be our go to spot to stay when we’re in Norfolk.
