It's unfortunate I have to leave such a low rating because I have stayed a handful of times and enjoyed my stay, but this time not so much. I completely understand smoking policies and if you require your patrons to smoke 20 feet from the building that's a good rule to have, but in the case of downpour and covering that does not extend to 20 feet from the door, it's the audacity to ask someone to stand in the pouring rain that ruined my stay for me. You do not need to be a smoker to be smoker friendly but you should be decent enough to not ask a patron to stand in the rain to smoke, regardless of the assumption that a vehicle is present and we should smoke inside said vehicle. This to me exhibits that the Yankee clipper is not smoker friendly.

Clean, comfortable and conveniently located motel. Stayed just one night before hiking Mt. Washington. My expectations are modest, but the place was above it.

This is a really cute budget friendly hotel. It’s going under renovation so there’s some construction going on but the rates reflect that right in the heart of North Conway where there’s all kinds of great outlet shopping and great restaurants. Hotel also has a washer and dryer which came in very handy for us Owners are very friendly. We will definitely stay there again.

The sweet lady at the front desk was so helpful and sweet. The dude that cleans the rooms was smoking outside out door and was complaining about how the owners were too cheap to replace the electrical box so he has to reset the breaker every day, or the rooms have no hot water. We had no hot water, so apparently he didn’t reset the breaker both days we were there. The rooms were clean enough. The tub didn’t drain so you had to stand in the cold water from your quick, cold shower. All in all, it was a pleasant enough stay, for the price. Owners definitely need to put the profits back into the business

The staff were very nice and accommodating. We were allowed to check in early. The only issue we had was the hot water breaker tripped and we had to wait until it was fixed. Over than that, it was a great place to stay and very affordable.

Staff at front desk were very efficient, friendly and helpful. Room was newly remodeled and very clean, Interior lighting, especially by beds and just inside door could be better. Cigarette butts near entry door could be picked up. Hope to see the return of the Blueberry Muffin restaurant! It was great! Tje Yankee Clipper is a very good place to stay!

The property is well located just next to the Outlet. The rooms we reserved weren’t that clean, the bed covers had some questionable stains on them. Carpet was also stained. We can see they tried to refresh the rooms but looks like wish inspired to try it but many thing were broken (desk chair, bathroom door,…). I don’t know if it’s a negligence of the owner of just stupid peoples booking the rooms not taking care.
