Not what i expected from Best Western. Room was musty-smelling. Toilet very low which was painful to sit down and get up for my bad knee. Breakfast was cold and coffee very weak. TV had no local channels/news. Remote very slow.

I had a comfortable two nights at Best Western in North Have , CT. The room was clean with a mini-fridge, a desk, small ottoman, a king size bed, and hvac. The hotel offered a free breakfast and free toiletries such as toothbrush, razor, shave cream, etc., if needed. Also, the room was reasonably priced and relatively close to New Haven and the Yale campus.

Staff was very nice. Bed very comfortable. Average on cleanliness. Not sure what was on the dark brown curtain. Lots of white stains. I’ll let your mind wander on that. We were passing through and needed a place to sleep and it served our purpose.

So so hotel
This is a very old hotel, needs many upgrades. Only has one elevator which means a long walk if your room is on the other side. Unattractive lobby, hallways not kept very clean. Very small bathrooms. You can tell rooms were repainted because it was not done well. Plus was that it was near 91
