First, I did overlook the detail about no towels and that was not like anywhere else I have stayed between Air BnB and VRBO so while I find it very odd, it was in the description. Unfortunately, I had what I think was food poising or an allergy from oysters I had and became violently ill and vomited out of a dead sleep in the bedroom. My husband and I tirelessly tried to get it cleaned with minimal cleaning supplies in the unit. There were no paper towels or cleaning towels at all so we used clothes we packed that ended up getting ruined. I have never stayed anywhere that handicapped you from being able to simply wipe up a spill, so cleaning up a sickly accident, wasn’t an easy task but we did our best The unit is far from perfect. It has a great view which is what you pay for. The carpet is old, there’s rust in the bathrooms and discoloration on the flooring already but we tried very hard to be respectful and clean it the best we could even though we knew we had paid the insurance for damage. It’s an aged unit so, I wasn’t turned off by it but it really surprised me that we would be charged $100 extra from the already paid insurance deductible for him to have this “repaired”. It’s a carpet stain that with professional cleaning, it would take it right out. This wasn’t a rip, tear or hole. It was residue from a sick human.
