Loved this hotel. Had our dogs and the staff and whole experience was amazing. Walked to the beach using several different trails connected to the property. Only place ill stay for future trips.

Pros: Safe, quiet, clean place, beautiful views & friendly staff. Cons: DISH TV reception was horrible during perfect weather and the bathtub was clogged so your feet were underwater when you took a shower.

Overlooking the bay from the top of the dune in North Truro one could see the entire tip of the Cape. The private balcony was also awesome. Beds were comfortable, room was large and amenities perfect. Very clean and well supplied.

The property was not well kept, the TV in the room didn't work for 3 of the 4 days I was there, the front door when closed you could see daylight coming through a good sized space in it. The bathroom shower head, toilet seat needed to be replaced, not patched like it was. There really wasn't anything I liked about this place, except the price for the 4day stay.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. They the most comfortable beds. The view is spectacular and the paths are fabulous; serene and beautiful. It is also one of the few pet friendly places to go.

First the good. The location of this property is convenient to the national seashore and Ptown is 10 minutes down the road. We also found the beds to be very comfortable, which was ideal since we spent a lot of time in them trying to stay warm. There is no heat in these rooms so our visit over two stormy September nights were both cold and wet inside our room. This set-up may work during the heat of July/August but beware once the weather changes.

Put us in a room that you had to climb wooden stairs. No gutters and the rain would roll off the roof and soak you. Made the steps slick and I fell down once. Not a place for a 70 year old man

Great friendly place!
We have stayed at the Dune Crest for about 25 years often on. The past 3/4 years we have gone 2 to 4 times in a summer As we have a small dog and they allow dogs. A big part for our returning is due to the staff. They are all very kind and helpful. Helen is the manager and she knows everything that’s going on. She’s always so friendly and helpful, we’ve gotten to know each other the past few years and I can’t imagine how the place would run without her.
